We should be getting used to the Kenyan domination of the steeplechase,but it's still pretty impressive! Kenya sent a superb trio here,including the two previous Olympic champions over this distance,Ezekiel Cheboi(who was also the defending Commonwealth Champion)and Brimin Kipruto.On the day ,however,they were both outkicked by the lesser known Richard Mateelong,winning in 8.16.39.
