@@crestron5965 Im not using it for skating so i can't comment on that, but i assume you mean if the helmet crashed into the ground or similar - in which case the black plastic forks on the mounting buckle will likely break, however i don't anticipate the sticky mounts will come off. if you want to know the stability - its very stable, the camera wont wobble
