    LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - Welcome to LA and more specifically San Gabriel Valley where we’re going to take you on an amazing spicy Chinese food tour today! I’m hanging out with my friend Jing who has a very cool story, which we’ll hear, and then we’ll be eating a Sichuan feast, Chongqing noodles, and finishing with an insanely spicy Chinese hot pot!
    Chengdu Impression (goo.gl/maps/cbzaWwE2UnXzeZoNA) Total price - $262.71 - Jing first took us to eat at her favorite Sichuan food restaurant in LA, called Chengdu Impression in Arcadia. We ordered a huge spread of dishes including pickled mustard greens fish, frog in a chili stew, one of the best mapo tofu I’ve ever had, and dino beef ribs with a mala Sichuan rub. It was one of the best Sichuan meals I’ve had, outstanding food and quality.
    Chong Qing Special Noodles (g.page/specialnoodles?share) - Price - $8.99 per bowl - Next up with headed to Chong Qing Special Noodles, a legendary noodle restaurant that serves spicy and tingly Chong Qing noodles. This is the real deal, so addictively tasty that you can’t stop.
    Chong Qing YaoMei Hotpot (goo.gl/maps/A5cvDSHgSYAx3mEX6) - Total price - $117.18 - Finally to complete this Chinese Sichuan food tour in greater Los Angeles, we drove out to Pasadena to eat at Chong Qing YaoMei Hotpot, again another Ching Qing specialty restaurant. This was one of the best hot pots I’ve had and you can order the extra spicy - which I did - and it really was properly spicy and bursting with flavor. The meat and vegetables selection was great, was the dipping sauce.
    It was an amazing day eating Sichuan and Chong Qing food within the greater LA area, and again thank you to Jing for showing us around!

      @mrsmjb10 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@GravInducedSleepTrac I love Mark's vlogging, and he has asked Ying on occasion her thoughts and it's a joy to see her reactions! She actually used to have a channel as well. She didn't review any specific restaurants that I recall but some instant Ramen (or noddle) dishes. It may still be up. But I just enjoy their family so much I'd love to see her "newly updated" favorites!
      As for the responses from the other 2 non factors on my comment. I choose to ignore those types of internet gangsters. They have NO OTHER outlet to feel validation so they scroll the comments looking to pick and be noticed! Give them no response.

    I lived in China Sichuan province for 1 1/2 in the city of Chengdu, also home of the panda. The spice is real there and a nearby city called chongqing is even more intense! Some delicious gems to be found along with some real experemental stuff too. Most hot pot there made me feel a little sick because everything is swimming in oil, but it’s a pleasant journey until that point hits lol. Great stuff as always man, I admire your shows!

      That's what I love about "Melting Pot" countries like the US. So many cultures mashing together you can find a lot of beautiful places in 1 spot. Here in Indonesia, there are not a lot of places that serve specific foreign cuisines; even if you offered to pay overwhelming amounts. I'd be content to overpay by a noticeable sum if they could recreate the flavours, but I've never found a restaurant here that serves food as good as the country of origin.
