I'm addicted to this guy! The fact he speaks to natives in their own tongue is impressive enough but the food shots and descriptiveness of the actual dishes is fantastic. My mouth is watering. I wish so much that I could fund travel experiences like this as well as have the confidence to enter into such unknown realms.

Idk about China, but in Japan, if you slurp your ramen or noodles, even in public places, it means you're enjoying the food. Nothing else.

I’m so crazy about different kinds of noodles. “Dry noodles”, “noodles with soup”, sliced noodles, sesame paste noodles, noodles with soybean paste, noodles with gravy, ramen noodles, fired noodles, cold noodles and so on. It’s truly awesome to see traditional barriers broken by learning their language. What remains is a genuine human interaction that wouldn’t be possible without breaking those barriers
I had a stopover in Chongqing in November of 2019, great and very friendly people. Met a native of this beautiful city on my way from Guangzhou and was willing to take me into the city since layover was 14hrs, it was a very rainy day and I missed this opportunity, ended up staying in the hotel in the airport. Can’t wait to go back. I have my new Chongqing friend and ready to take me to eat in Chongqing. Thanks for sharing Trevor will note these places.

Noodles is the easiest food to eat with chopsticks. You can literally hold it horizontally and let the noodles hang on it.

Trevor you need to open a chain of restaurants highlighting a dish from each region you have visited that isn’t your typical Chinese food. It would be a major hit. Super authentic, super regional, and off the beaten path.
