This video I will discuss my lessons learned with camshaft chain tensioners. Specifically for my motorcycle engine powered race car. I had experienced 3 motor failures with the same issue and found that my manual tension chain tensioner was the root issue leading to failure. This is only my experience to share, does not mean manual tensioners are bad for your application.

The stock hydrolic spring is better IMHO been journeyman mechanic for 45+ years. There is a reason they come with ACCT. Millions of bikes and dollars spent says it all?
