I did contact them, but manufacturers warranty expired 3days prior. I was told that they may help out with some parts. LoL 😂. B.S. only 6,300 miles well maintained.

MagDump I think it was just one of those freak things that happens. I still think the MT10 is one of the all around best bikes on the market. I’m thinking of getting a 2022 Mt10 or Mt10sp.
100% its because you didn't tune it after deleting cat.. these bike run super lean. Tuning is not for power its so it runs a good air fuel ratio and this doesn't happen

My guess it detonation. These things run lean from factory and it gets that much worse by decating it without tuning it.

Just had my 2021 throw a rod through the bottom of the block has roughly 4200 miles and it was stock
My 2018 mt10 engine just failed at 7400 miles

Yamaha did not cover it. Manufacturers one year warranty expired 3 days after 1 year. Luckily insurance covered the loss.

Never know yamaha can destroy a engine i have a bmw s1000r 2017 whit 45000km still running strong, only serviced from the dealer 0 problems....
