That go xlr should have 2 usb. 1 for the game pc and 1 for stream/recording pc. That way you can keep the audio channels separate and game without the streaming pc on. I know you can do the other way around use a Isabel splitter but it would be a nice improvement since it is made for streaming
You can't game without having your streaming pc on using an GO XLR?
@Manolis Kafesakis So I could just get a second USB cable to connect it easily to my gaming pc if I wanted to just do some off stream game without the need of having the stream pc on?

Few questions
1. Do you use two mouse and two KB for the two PCs? Or do you use an app to have them control both?
2. If I have a SoundBlaster G6, would I be able to run the AUX cables like you do?

You can just set up an RDP (Remote Desktop Connection) between the two PCs. Use your main PC and RDP into the Stream PC and control it in its own window from the Game PC.

Great video man. One question though, with only setting "line in" on the streaming PC, that will only record the audio from that gaming PC to the streaming PC obviously. So what would I need to do for the alerts and such to be picked up on the streaming PC to be recorded in OBS on the streaming PC? I get that the line out goes back to the gaming PC so I can hear the alerts and such come through, but would you want the audio from the alerts to be recorded on stream PC also?
what i did to solve this was add an audio output capture on the stream pc OF the STREAM pc itself and then went on the mixer and in streamlabs obs and set it to mute - outputonly so that the stream will pick it up but it wont play outloud to me again and it worked perfectly :) dm me on instagram if you want any help and ill do my best to help

But what if u don't want to stream ur main screen and a brb screen insted cuz if the capture card is sending ur main screen it's not gonna be ur obs window it's gonA be ur main screen only

My question is for my music, I use iTunes do I run that on my streaming Pc? Also do I plug my streamdeck into my stream pc? What Pc do I setup my overlays on?
I did everything you mentioned but for the audio I’m running a windows pc as my gaming and a iMac as a streaming computer so I don’t have line in and line out on iMac for transferring audio. How do I get around this ?

The GoXLR has a mixer so it’s able to route all the audio from Gaming PC to the Streaming PC.
How to make it work with Streamlabs?

pretty late to this, but lets say i wanted to split the audio I output so that i have a game channel and a mic channel. That wat i could add filters to my mic without it changing the game sound.

I just upgraded my PC (ryzen 9 3900x, rtx 2070 super now, we running smooth!) and was considering running a dual setup with the old one I had. I guess my question is: how beefy does the streaming PC need to be? my old one was a pre-built from 2017 with an RX 480, so not much in terms of horsepower. appreciate any tips/insight!
Hmm, it may be ok, but the way I would look at it is, its definitely perform better than if you stream and game on the same rig if that makes any sense. Give it a shot and see how it works out!

If I'm not planning on streaming , just want to game on 1 monitor but use spotify and discord running on a separate pc (streampc) and connect 2 monitors to the (streampc) and just use the goxlr mini to be able to hear discord, and spotify while im gaming on my (gamingpc) would work fine?
In other words I don't need to use a capture card if im not planning on streaming or using OBS?
(gamingpc) 1 monitor for gaming running only the game.
(streampc) 2 monitors running spotify, chrome, discord.
So basically I can just run the goxlr mini to combine the sound right?

How could I get a separate the mic from the game sound on the audio track sent to the stream pc and obs? Say I wanted to add additional filters on my XLR mic on obs I don’t see a way to separate that track from my game audio also being sent from game pc.

Awesome Video man, I've been looking for a good guide, but there's so many out there, and msot of em mention you need 2 seperate microphones for streaming with a dual pc setup.
I dont see/hear you mention 2 microphones though, do u use the same microphone for both ingame voice and your stream??

Ok so do you use RTX Broadcast also? The clicking from my keyboard still bleeds through. Any idea on how to fix it?
If you haven't found an answer yet, For you mouse clicking, you have to mess with your Gate Threshold in your goxlr.
1. Start the threshold at "off" (slider to the bottom)
2. Start moving the slider up, till your voice starts to cut off, then bring the slider back a slightly
3. Now, test your keyboard and mouse clickity claks.
It's trial an error.
**Make sure your mic is facing towards you mouth and as close as possible.
Make sure you haven't raised the gain too much. This could happen if your mic is further away from your face (should be 6-7 inches, if closer lower gain more)
If you're trying to use OBS, you can use Noise Suppression inside OBS as a filter. This actually works really well as a quick fix, but obviously only work inside OBS.
How do you separate your microphone and gaming pc and stream pc audio in OBS?
Thinking about getting a goxlr for a dual pc stream. Can you set discord up on a separate line on so you can mute it if you want? Like 1 line each for Mic, gaming pc, discord?

Do you have any delay with your game audio at all? I currently have a little bit of delay on my games sound doesn’t perfectly match so that’s why I’m buying this. I currently use voiceometer potato to share audio between both but it’s giving me a delayed sound in game.

goxlr connected to gaming pc with the USB. Then on the back of the goxlr line out -> line in on streaming pc, and goxlr line in -> line out streaming pc
Both the line in and out on the goxlr are connected to the stream pc? I thought one had to go to the gaming pc?
Still what do you do for ingame chat with non pc gamers ,so far being told that my voice audio is distorted .Obs works great as does discord…
my issue with this setup is I want to hear my alerts but I'm hearing my mic back into my ears from the streaming pc. How do you get alerts but not all the audio coming back
Hey if you figure this out please let me know! I am currently trying to work my way through this problem as well.
I actually just set it up differently, I couldn’t for the life of me get it working the way he has it in this video. So I plugged the goxlr USB into the streaming pc and the audio in and out to my gaming pc and have discord and Spotify on my streaming pc set to 2 different sliders on the goxlr and then I have the audio coming from the gaming pc set to line in on the 4th slider and so far everything works now. But could not get it to work how most TH-cam videos show you how to do it I kept hearing my voice back as a delay and I just couldn’t stand it

I got the hd60x got my set up only issue now is I can't get game chat to work on anything
Helpful video but my issue now is getting OBS to recognize the audio. All settings on OBS are the same as in the video, all physical connections are fine, and same for the routing table. But OBS on the recording PC will not recognize any audio. I don't know if I'm missing something obvious or what but it is kind of frustrating. I don't know what settings to mess with next.

@@ohioman797 My solution was within Windows settings. I don't know if this will resolve your issue, but I opened up the settings app>Privacy>Microphone>Under the section that says "Allow apps to access your microphone" make sure that's toggled on. Mine was toggled off for some reason. That was basically blocking the line-in from hearing anything at all, thus nothing showed up in OBS. I toggled it on and bam, everything worked for me.

Won't fps be capped at 60 on your gaming monitor if you duplicate it with your capture card???

split out the game audio seperately (dont send it to the broadcast stream mix, just game) and set up an audio input for Game Audio and a gain filter lowering the decibels. I personally set mine to -9db so game sounds are slightly quieter than my mic to the audience

i did this setup but i keep getting a weird fan sound on stream. only goes away if i mute the stream mix in obs. I have turned down all volumes and that doesnt fix it. just if i mute the entire mix

I’m having echo problems. Game chat could hear their voice and the game. You know why I could possibly be having that problem?
Can someone please help me with this problem, I get random frame drops in my OBS recordings and it happens every 15 seconds it seems. I just don’t understand what I’m doing wrong. I try and record 4K footage and I follow all these tips on the internet and setups for recording 4K and it all looks perfect and smooth 60fps but then frame drops happen. I have a 2 pc set up, I game on a 4K monitor, my recording pc is on a 2k monitor. What should the settings be? (Canvas, output, bitrates, etc) please someone help. Just seems like a never ending problem.

Im pretty confused, how would you open obs on your streaming pc when you duplicated whats on the other monitor, i ask because i only have two monitors, and so everything i do on my left monitor happens on my right, im just really confused on how i would open obs on my right monitor my streaming computer monitor when im just opening it on my gaming monitor
