    Thank you once again George for another informative video. I had a similar issue recently in my discus tank and thanks to your advice on a previous video on using salt and heat I was able to save my little guy.

      I am so happy to hear that. We over use medications in this hobby. I am learning about alternative methods for treating diseases and I will continue to pass that information on as I learn. Please like and subscribe to help this channel grow. I am not flashy like some channels, but I believe I am helping the hobby with my knowledge. That is the most important gift I can give all of you. Thank you and please try to get 10 friends to subscribe and that will help me grow. Cheers!!!

    That does not look good. It really looks like some kind of bacterial infection. I will take your word for it about the two medications. I would have thought Discus Plague?

      I had the same thought , looks like discus plague, I bought a blue diamond when they first came out and put it in with my own bred fish and all 30 of mine went like the video except for the blue diamond, it was swimming around happy while the rest looked like they were on deaths door, they survived with a lot of tlc

      Discus Plague is an almost certain death from what I hear. I consulted some professionals in the Discus trade and they assured me it was likely a toxic mix of two medications. That is all I have to go on. I have seen most everything and this came on within hours and effected almost every fish .Disease does not work that way.

      @@aquaticconceptsbringingwaterto did you add any new fish?

    • @aquaticconceptsbringingwaterto
      @aquaticconceptsbringingwaterto  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      No! No new fish. Just medicated for a fungal infection for 10 days and then did three days of water changes. Then I had a scheduled Dewormer and that is when the problem started. Just enough of the medication for the fungal in the tank to cause a toxic reaction. We are always learning regardless of how long we have been doing this!
