For those saying solider boy needed help at herogasm: That was a solider boy who had just came out from toture from the Russians like a day ago, was sleep deprived, starved and also just used his chest blast on the tnt twins taking lots of energy. Solider boy at the final battle is the only time where he's at his prime. And he tanked butchers heat vision which is only slightly weaker than home landers.
He had days to recover, and his chest blast taking energy from him makes no sense by that logic homelander wasn’t at full power either. All of that just sounds like excuses for no wanting to accept the obvious. He lost to homelander even with help.
Sleep deprivation and starving don't apply to supes especially someone of sb's of caliber who probably didn't even get affected by it or else he wouldn't have survived 40 years of torture.
Ryan would be stronger then fodder such as black widow and.. Captain america and deadpool but would get destroyed by tiers such as thor and captain marvel.

I never understood this debate tbh. Soldier boy had every advantage in terms of location, help from supes and he still couldn’t beat homelander. They fought in herogasm which is a closed location, preventing homelander to abuse his flight, he had help in herogasm but homelander still overpowered him+2 supes. Not only that but homelander didn’t for some reason use his other powers, he didn’t use his lasers, which were equals to butcher which in turn left a gash in sb cheek, he didn’t use his superspeed to blitz them, he didn’t use his flight to bfr them, etc. that was a pure strength contest in herogasm and homelander still won. I don’t buy the argument that soldier boy was weakened during herogasm. What people often forget is that he gets PTSD, thats why he stumbles around. I think most people use it as an excuse for how bad soldier boy lost, even though the reason he lost is because he’s weaker than homelander. The only way i see sb winning is if he lands his chest blast ability (assuming it works on homie).

Not really a debate, in their first interaction he absolutely stomped soldier boy, even when it was a 2v1 he knocked him down for a good while, then was about to kill Butcher. It took Hughie chiming in and all 3 of them just to pin him down, and he fled because for the first time he was actually scared of taking hits, when all we see in the end is a bruise. A massive accomplishment, yes, but it''s clear Soldier Boy isn't on par with him. Maeve is likely a better example, while Homelander is holding back, her individual hits do much more damage than Soldier Boy's could. Either way I doubt even both of them would stand a chance at taking him down.
Many people have pointed out that Soldier Boy wasn't at 100% for that fight, I still agree that he's weaker but I thought I'd point that out since it's at least "believable" that he could be as strong or stronger.

Homelander is stronger than all the other supes because he was written that way. SB is close but not equal to him. This is made very clear in their fight. Also SBs nuke blast wont work on Homelander. And I am 100% sure of this.
@markusnixon3156 Because Homelander wouldn't let it hit him, it takes a while to charge and him using the blast would just fatigue him or even knock him out so Homelander could neg him, I wouldn't even consider it in any fight where he's fighting someone relative just because of charge time or they could just run

@@Lumantrix stormfront's character bio says she can fling away a 747 with her plasma, which is better than anything cindy or lamplighter have shown. it's also implied lampligher can't even beat kimiko, and she's weaker than an emaciated and depowered starlight. the biggest thing cindy has going for her is aura imo. realistically starlight should've blitz'd and one-shot'd. also black noir isn't that impressive. he got ragdolled by starlight then struggled to take her out. he also groaned in pain when butcher, who is weaker than kimiko, hit him with a crowbar. season 4 base starlight btfo's that fraud.
