Hi Mikkos! I am so glad that the video was helpful! I love this technique. I have been using it for years and it is still my favorite way to make Scrambled Eggs. Thanks for watching and letting me know that it worked for you!
For all those learning to cook in quarantine here's a hidden gem lol add a splash of milk to your eggs just enough to lighten the color and they become amazingly fluffy.
Yeah I’m ten years old,and I’ve been cooking different things during quarantine, before I only knew how to make pancakes, but now I’m making new things because I’m home all day so my mom says yes most of the times😂.Ive been making breakfast a lot during quarantine.
“And we’re just gonna beat these until their fully beaten, because sometimes I don’t beat them enough... so you wanna make sure you beat em up really good”.💀🤣
I always add some milk or half and half to the eggs before cooking. That really makes 'em fluffy. I salt and pepper the eggs before cooking. Yes, I let them sit cooking in the pan and do what you did during cooking. I also fold the cooked egg at the edges over onto the uncooked egg in the centre to fluff up the whole thing. Thanks Amy.
This recipe is so simple, so fun to watch her cook it with precision and even more, for us to learn and hope it comes out as tasty and appealing as it came out in the vid. Great Recipe, simple and perfect!!!
Thank you Amy! I tried this method this morning and it resulted in simple eggy-Heaven! I wondered if it would be as easy with only two eggs and it was. Yummy.
Just wanted to say, after having first watching this years ago and bookmarking it, I recently finally gave it the proper attention. I couldn't believe that I actually produced the fluffiest, lightest scrambled eggs that I can remember having for some time. Certainly the best I'd ever made. Just wanted to say thanks! I'm going to be making these A LOT more often! Peace & Blessings!
It's funny to me how we can put so much effort into something as simple as scrambled eggs. But it's amazing to me how much difference it actually makes. Nice video.
What I need to know is how do you cook egg whites?? So you can make them taste good and appealing I have third stage kidney disease and can't have the yolks. I would appreciate you having a recipe on how to cook them, in various ways thank you
I actually discovered Amy's method by accident a few years ago, and it really does produce the nicest fluffiest scrambled eggs. Amy knows what she's talking about here.
That’s the way I cook my scrambled eggs, but I start with butter and fresh spinach in the pan, then add sausage crumbles (precooked), then add the beaten egg with shredded cheese. Yummy
Not wrong Pam. There's a billion ways to cook them. This technique is pretty simple. Can still add milk, butter or whatever makes you happy. I hope you give it a try. Thanks for watching!!!
I hope she gets better soon! That doesn't mean you should stop cooking for her though 😋 You guys can have a cooking competition. God bless you and your family 😃
i can cook nearly ANYTHING, but scrambled eggs were always a challenge... watched this one time (after 34 years of cooking) and BAM, best scrambled eggs EVER and my son and husband can NOT get enough!!! thank you for saving breakfast for my family!!!!😊😊😊
This is amazing to watch, I make omelette in non stick pan with 1tbs olive oil and 1tbs butter sauteed diced one onion, chive & mild Jalapeno for few minutes with salt & pepper then add slowly the well beaten eggs just like our genius chef had done. I love seeing a happy satisfied people and also ordinary simple mum solve millions of people's mistake at breakfast table. All these posh chefs telling us recepies so complicated so confusing showing off their personal success without addressing the core problem. Thank you!! Will
I do the same except I add fresh garlic, tomatoes, a bit of milk and sweet chilli flavoured tuna and add it to a bed of jasmine rice with a little soy sauce. I also add in some Italian mixed herbs, a tea spoon of oregano and a teaspoon of cumin spice. In a rice cooker you put in about a cup of jasmin rice and two cups of water and you just turn it on to cook and once the rice is cooked, you add about a desert spoon of soy sauce to it and mix in well. The end result is delicious and gives you two large plates.
This was my first time cooking eggs, I never cooked them because I was too scared to go out of my comfort bubble, or that i’d do something wrong, or that they would taste really bad. But today I tried it for the first time and seeing you make them made me feel like I was overthinking it soU tried it out and they turned out perfect thank you for this!!! 🤩
You learn by doing. 🙂 Eggs are pretty simple and probably won't taste bad. As she said, the problem is if they were cooked correctly to come out looking good with the right texture.
You learn something new everyday even something so common and simply as this Just goes to show you there's always room for improvement in everything we do in life.
I have always cooked my eggs like this. It makes them so puffy and so light. I also cook my omelettes real slow with a lid. Great video for first time cooks.
Thank you so much. I just realized after many decades that the problem with my scrambled eggs is that I stir them way too much in the pan and I always wondered why mine were so flat compared to a restaurant.
I also add milk to my eggs. I start cooking on high then as they start to get firm lower heat to medium. Stir and cook until almost done then I take off the burner and put on a tight fitting lid. Let set until eggs are completely cooked. Your eggs will have really fluffed up a lot.
It's 8/22/2021 and I guess I'm late to the party but OH MY GOODNESS! I did exactly what you said and my eggs were perfect! They were so fluffy and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes since we "eat" with our eyes first. Thank you thank you!!!
I have been making eggs like this for years and she is so right! Don’t stir the eggs just be patient and fold them slightly. It’s sort of the same method that you would use when you make an omelette but eventually it’s going to be your scrambled eggs! And they’re so delicious!
I have been doing this for years. I am glad you added to pull them before all the moisture is remove because they will continue to cook. Believe it or not I learned this from working at McDonald's when they started making breakfast. They trained us this way. For readers don't worry how old I am. It was back in a day.
Thanks for watching William we appreciate it. I used to like going to McDonalds for breakfast sometimes. But not anymore. I have no idea what they actually cook (if anything) anymore. You are absolutely correct about how fast eggs can overcook and dry out.
William Johnson William that was the reason I used to go to MacDs for their scrambled egg at breakfast and have always wondered how they cooked it now I know.x

same here but not mixing them in the bowl but folding them in the pan to keep white and yellow coloration plus adding contrast in taste as the whites taste different than the yelow if that makes sense :)

This is the BEST, most helpful video (in my opinion), on TH-cam! I'm 58 and tried her method and mine turned out delicious! I've never been able to make scrambled eggs worth a darn! I did add a little cream in mine, as well as salt and pepper, when I cooked it. I also used butter and a little pat of bacon grease. Beyond deliicious! Thumbs up. THANK YOU so much, for this wonderful video. I've saved it to my favorites! ♥♥♥
Hi Mikkos! I am so glad that the video was helpful! I love this technique. I have been using it for years and it is still my favorite way to make Scrambled Eggs. Thanks for watching and letting me know that it worked for you!
I always knew this is the right method to do scrambled eggs but I never understood the rhythm to it, and you explained it very clearly. Thank you Amy.
For all those learning to cook in quarantine here's a hidden gem lol add a splash of milk to your eggs just enough to lighten the color and they become amazingly fluffy.

Damn, I used to always just throw them in and instantly start mixing them, and I’d cook em on medium heat. This is real helpful 👍
Thanks Amy.
I add milk and a little butter in my eggs and they are not only fluffy but good

Thank you for this! Always struggled making good scrambled eggs but I followed your method & it worked! Fluffy & delicious! Brilliant, thank you.
Add an ounce or two of milk to those six eggs and a dash or two of salt before scrambling. Even fluffier and tastier.

Yummy
That sounds really good. Thank you for sharing. I think I may have to try that. ❤️😊

Thank you!!

Add a little cheese on those eggs and O Boy
This was my first time cooking eggs, I never cooked them because I was too scared to go out of my comfort bubble, or that i’d do something wrong, or that they would taste really bad. You learn by doing. 🙂 Eggs are pretty simple and probably won't taste bad. As she said, the problem is if they were cooked correctly to come out looking good with the right texture.

I have always cooked my eggs like this. It makes them so puffy and so light. I also cook my omelettes real slow with a lid. Great video for first time cooks.
This is a great technique for fluffy scrambled eggs! Thanks for watching, CarolAnn!
Thank you so much. I just realized after many decades that the problem with my scrambled eggs is that I stir them way too much in the pan and I always wondered why mine were so flat compared to a restaurant.
I used to wonder how my favorite restaurant's scrambled eggs were so much fluffier than mine. Now I know the secret!
me too
Restaurants use liquid eggs. No flavour. I tell them to use fresh ones. I also put in a 1/4 cup natural milk with 4 eggs
I thank you so much.for your lovely flufy egg
I also add milk to my eggs. I start cooking on high then as they start to get firm lower heat to medium. Stir and cook until almost done then I take off the burner and put on a tight fitting lid. Let set until eggs are completely cooked. Your eggs will have really fluffed up a lot.
They put club soda water in it. The bubbles fluff it up.

Yes, Ramsey's way is my favorite. He first warms the eggs in water in the shell. He also uses a very low heat pan. Very fluffy resul.
