- A gas leakage has been reported from a chemical company factory in Maharashtra's Ambarnath. The chemical fumes have spread across the entire city and reached the railway tracks, reducing visibility. Sources have said the citizens are suffering from eye and throat irritation.

This is like an Open Genocide!
All happens in far reaches of North Mumbai & Navi Mumbai. These are the areas ignored by Political leaders till Elections come up.
Infra projects are slow & most are just on paper. Road, long distance train, metro, airport conectivity is limited & is mostly lacking. Large scale Economic activity or economic hubs like SEEPZ & BKC that can sustain growth in these areas are not even a thought .
But people in these areas are just fine living like this & will continue to elect their leaders blindly .
One example- Thane, CM Shinde's constituency. Transport / commute connectivity is limited , roads are bad, narrow, congested & accidents are common, Metro work is at snail's pace & most infra projects are just on paper.

The factory owner should be penalized, This is the reason why western country are eliminating such manufacturing plants making there land clean and putting such hazard for citizen and nature of out country and similar ones who are consider to be emerging or developing economy.
