Britain killed 4 million Indians in Bengal in 1943 by imposing a famine

Why are you saying about only 1943 famine?
What about 1772 and the entire era of British rule?
More than a billion people were killed during British rule by Britishers , millions of women were raped and many more. Whatever they can did brutal and worst things they did with Indians and still they say that they civilised and built India and always treat Indians as third world citizens. They have zero idea that when their was no sign of Britain and when they were totally Barbarians then India was the most advanced, rich and educated country in the entire world despite of having infinite numbers of invasions and mass destruction.
But after Britishers left then only 12% Indians were educated and most of Indians belonged to poverty line.

It is anti india as it is one sided. ABC did not quote UNDP report that said india lifted 415 million people from multi dimensional poverty in the last 15 years. The report did not attempt to get the other side of the story, the govt's prospective on unemployment numbers, typical for ABC..
      About the reporter being indian.
Looking Indian, is not being Indian. She did all her higher education in Australia and is an Australian citizen.
If you have read history, General Dyer gave orders to shoot down innocent civilians in India in 1919.. However, the soldiers who actually pulled the trigger were indian.
Hannah Jose, the reporter, is not very different from those brainwashed wannabe British soldiers.

So, you should be cursing other Indians for this report, not British. Secondly, the TV Channel is Australian (not British again!). But you and the poster are ignoring all this, and picking something completely unrelated (ie. the British), and commenting on that.
I too am totally against the British colonialism that happened. But there has to be some logic to the comments we make.
If you are going to say all 'Western' media and people are biased, then you should also be cursing Modi, because he goes around hugging the American Presidents. Modi and most Indians are big fans of Trump. And nobody was closer to the British than Trump (his mother was Scottish, and he was a great admirer of the Queen!). So, is Modi also a traitor because he has been hugging the British descendent Trump? What about the millions of Indians who are desperately migrating to the US, UK, Australia, Canada, etc. every year seeking a better life? Are they all traitors?

About 70% of India's GDP growth is driven by domestic demand. And India is growing at 7% projected growth rate which will surely be higher by the end of this financial year.
Only fools or crooks can say that such an economy is facing "grim" unemployment.

There are a plenty of jobs out there but a majority of youth is still after government jobs which provide more stability, lower no of working hours and at the same time, a decent progression and career growth. There is nothing wrong in having such a mindset but one must also acknowledge that Govt jobs will always be finite due to the growing population.
There are several other non-Govt jobs in different fields and then, there are startups.. but India youth is becoming lazier day by day, we lack basic skills and don't want to slog in non-desk jobs...

4:12 .. a highly incorrect statement. There is no "best" way for a person from low economy class to join elite club quickly. Only a handful can join every year. That's not the "best" way. You need at least 2 generations of continous effort to join elite club. First generation builds on basic necessities. The second generation studies hard to go for a govt engineering college and finally get a good job.

Some quick questions: how many zeros are there in a hundred trillion? Did it take you more seconds to arrive at the answer than there are zeros in a hundred trillion? Yes? If it did not, here is something else to help you wrap your head around the enormity of the amount. If you can spend $1 million every second, how many years will it take you to spend $100 trillion?
