Very clear guide. Just replaced the USB-C charging port because getting my phone to charge was a nightmare, and this fixed it.
I completed the guide without the suction cup or the special plastic tools - opting instead for a small knife to remove the cover initially (which was actually the only difficult step). 10/10 would fix myself again.
I was giving up, but your comment motivated me again to try, thanks for that. The guide is very clear, but the amount of stuff to do without having such proper tools is pretty scary.

Brilliant guide and extremely clear, easy to follow steps. Don't skimp on that suction cup, makes getting the case off SO much easier. Also, the microphone board refused to come out completely for me, but I was able to get it up just high enough to slide the old USB-C port out under it and the new one in.

it's terrifying how much heat you have to use but it worked!
Thanks, couldn't figure out how to lift the battery. Had to separate the film beneath the battery from the red tag.

Video states a *2 and *10 screwdriver are required but I think this is incorrect as none of the kits I have looked at seem to include a small *10?
I only want to change my charging port flex but does it still need to remove the display connecting flex?

I think it's a fresh layer of adhesive. Since the adhesive is softened (by the heat) to open the phone it makes sense to put some new stuff on
