Love your work because i have always loved mythology.
I have been fascinated by mythology since I was a child and got into trouble in school as a child because I found and brought up the myths being spread in history and government classes.
It is amazing to me that people have created these images and ideas all in their minds, and they are so vivid, they provide the weak-minded hope for personal continuance, in an infinite timeline sustaining their temporal existence.

I have to say, that although I'm familiar with the text in its written form, listening to it being read aloud brings my attention to different places and gives me a tint of different understanding. Thank you for this experience!

I have already read this, but wanted to just comment to help the algo, and to say thank you for spreading such info, amazing and sad that most NeoPagans ignore Theurgy!

I love these, but may I suggest perhaps giving a 5 min intro of the history on the text to have some context about it? Not only who wrote it, but when was it wrote, if there is anything particularly meaningful about it for the era, if it relates to other text, etc.
I know it isn't your obligation, and you are giving a great service by doing these, but seeing that you yourself have knowledge about these texts I feel it would be cool if we get a little context of the text you are about to read that can help us understand better its meaning by not hearing it in a vacuum, but knowing if there's something meaningful about it we should know beforehand.
Or even your thoughts on the text at the end, I don't know, I feel it would add so much more to these, but again, thank you so much for what you are doing, is great being able to hear and know what these texts actually said.

I've got portions of Iamblichus's De Mysteriis on the channel already ("On Eudaimonia or True Success" and "On Nativities and Guardian Daimones"); unfortunately I'm not familiar with the Porphyry text. What's it called in full?

Perhaps the translator meant to say grain.

Corn was/is also a general term for grain (not specific to maize as it generally is today)

As a Maa Kaali devotee, I can 100% guarantee that symbolism is power, the more u become a devotee, the more u can read and feel and have a intuition about it. Protestant science soyboys are like: CLAY, ROCK, MARBLE, ONLY (INVISIBLE REASON) IS TRUE, WHILE WORSHIPPING THE HADRON COLLIDER

How do a few pieces of track need that HUGE box...a Lot of their stuff seems to come IN Giant boxes... MAYBE it's because it's odd as hell to Buy Such SMALL AMOUNTs of track and EVERYTHING they sell separately BECAUSE all that stuff or most of it should come with the set to begin with or SIMPLY in 1 OR 2 extra expander sets...
