Hello cat parents! 🐱 I’d just like to ask you a quick question… 👉 What is your best advice when it comes to giving a cat a bath? Feel free to share in the comment section below 👇
I've been bathing cats for years. I put them in a dry sink with a bucket of warm water beside me. I have the shampoo in a flip nozzle bottle that can be opened and shut with one hand. I dilute it with half water. Have your towels ready. I also have a song that's 7 minutes long ready to play. Starting at the head, wet head, ears, cheeks, throat, shoulders and chest with water. Pour shampoo on and lather. This keeps the fleas off the face and out of the ears. Start the music and wet the rest of the cat and add shampoo. You must keep one hand firmly on your cat at all times. The watered down soap is quick to lather and cover the cat. I talk gently, sing and massage my cat all over. When the song is over start rinsing from the head. Sometimes I use a dishpan to speed up the rinsing process. It depends on the cat. Don't forget those feet and between the toes. Once rinsed, I squeeze the water out, put a towel folded in half, one corner at the head, the other at the tail, drop the sides down and scoop the cat up in my arms, holding them snuggly against me. I give them time to rest before I start drying them. After scrubbing them dry-ish, I let that one go and get ready for the next one. I have 13 cats, but only bathe 7. Happy Kitty Bath 😸
The time it will take to clear depends in each case according to the acuteness and chronicity of the ringworm. Mix turmeric powder with water to form a paste and apply it to the affected area. Leave the paste on for 30 minutes before washing it off with warm water.
@@Zumalka-Natural-Pet-Care Basically all infectious microorganisms have a lipid coat that protects the microorganisms. Coconut oil has two compounds, caprylic acid and monolaurin. Both of these compounds will dissolve the lipid coatband allow the microorganisms to be killed with exposure. This is like taking the shell off of a turtle. There is not and never will be any resistance to treatment.
I dont see how a mortar & pestle will grind avocado peel into a paste. I think a food processor would be more efficient. Would have liked to see a demo. Also didn't need five minutes of exposition before the topic started. But thank you for the tips!
I hope the topical natural suggestions in my video were helpful. As for our products, they are best when mixed with water or a liquid treat for best results. I cannot say if there are other natural products out there that can be added to the food. I hope you find what you are looking for.
Suzie, Thank you for presenting these natural treatments for ringworm infection. Can an😢y of these treatments be ingested? I give my cats ginger powder on their canned cat food evertime to prevent vomiting. It works like a charm without adverse effects.
First 5mins of this video until they finally gets to the remedies.. all to tell you to use avocado peels and some dill🤦🏼♀️ avocados are toxic to cats ☹️
Hi there, I like to give full info on the problem, symptoms and causes of the problem before getting to the treatments so pet parents can be sure their cat actually does have this problem before jumping to treatments. In my recommended natural treatments there is no avocado peel, I am talking about ginger in that section of the video. I do apologize for the slip of the tongue in this video.
I'm not sure that the lack of sunlight will increase the chances or ringworm, but prolonged exposure to sunlight does kill ringworms. Sunbathing may be a helpful supplemental treatment to medical care for ringworm, but it should not serve as a substitute.
i have a stinky cat ! i love her , (nono) she is solid white, i wash her with a wash cloth or wait till she is a weather cat , then i scrub her with a dry small towel 👍
It is not recommended to give avocados for cats to eat as these have toxic properties to cats. However, using the peels topically as recommended in the video is not at all harmful or toxic to your cat. Rest assured it is very safe and beneficial in ringworm cases.

Sounds like you have the routine down pat! Good for you!
How many days does turmeric takes to heal ringworm ??? And how should I use turmeric plz reply as soon as possible

When bathing with guava leaves is it okay to still use shampoo or conditioner?
Yes, but use the guava leaves treatment after having used any shampoos or conditioners.
Tnx for sharing! ✨🙏💖😁✨
You are so very welcome!
Thank you for the information.
Our pleasure!
Im about to cry. I have 7 cats. I rescued 5 from outside as tiny kittens. I have noticed that at least 3 of them may have it.
I hope my video was helpful!
What about coconut oil?
Coconut oil is an excellent skin soother, for sure you can use that topically.

Yes a food processor also works well, if it does not mash it up enough you can always finish the mashing with the mortar and pestle.
It would be Co much easier for me to add a medication to some wet food.. is there an over the counter that will work

Listening to this I do think my oldest cat had it awhile ago. I think it went away on its own.
That's good if it was resolved!

Sadly no not all the home remedies can be given orally to cats. It's important to only use them as described in my video.

Yes I know,, very frustrating.
Avocado is definitely listed along with photos so it doesn’t appear to be just a slip of the tongue
My infected cat won't allow any foreign substance placed upon his body to remain without instantly licking it off!
Does lack of exposure to sun light increase likelihood of ringworm infection? Sunlight has three forms of UV radiation.

I'm sorry to hear you have issues with your cat's odour. Does she have any other symptoms? Perhaps there is a root cause for this smell...
Is the stink from its breathe or body. My older cat developed bad breath. I feed her dental treats twice a day and her bad breath has resolved.
I thought alvacodo was toxic to cat's ?

You Tube is against not using corporate ways of doing things. You were being blocked on your end. Fortunately this woman got your message.
You’re screaming !!!!! Omg how loud , and it’s on low
Just my normal talking voice, no screaming. I just tested and volume levels seem fine on my end.
that aint screaming , lower the volume
Why don’t you just stop watching? this is your second Comment complaining about the same thing. Just move on , kick rocks!
Volume is purrfect on my end. Are you a hearing aid wearer?
Your device has a technical problem. I have listened to this video and her speech is fine.
