It shouldn't as long as you fully eradicated it. I often tell my patients to use the topicals until completely resolved, PLUS one more week to make sure microscopic amounts are not present.

Guys I have a question, i have this fungicide thing and I’m putting cream for it to go and if it goes away will it live a mark and if it lives a mark for how long will it be left plz let me know
did you follow the recommendations from the video? Fungus is stubborn, and it often takes 2-3 time applications of the creams along with keeping the area dry for at least one month to get rid of it. And i always tell my patients -- use it until it's gone PLUS one more week to make sure every microscopic amount has been resolved. If this doesn't work, however, i really think a visit to the doctor should be the next step, as there are other conditions that can mimic ringworm.

I still got the dark mark patches which usually becomes red sometimes when im heavy sweating or workout.. does this mean the fungi are not yet killed and have chances to get back??
Same. What to dodoc?
Buy the brand called defense soap
I got it a few months ago and the red has gone away completely but the circle is still there just shades lighter than my skin tone, how can I make it match my skin tone

It will surely worsen the ringworm
Because it has hydrochloride

Can it transfer by touch even tho I don’t touch the affected area ?

POM&ROY i don’t know what “fourderm” is, i haven’t seen that in the U.S. but as i mention in the video, antifungals are first line - like clotrimazole, miconazole. The video goes into more detail. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the response. Fourderm is an antifungal ointment, available in INDIA. Kindly check whether it is good or not. And let me know.

it's what i discuss in the video!
can i use any powder on that part to reduce moisture and infection . i am using tab from 2years 😓😓
Can you spread it to other body parts when you shower? Will showering with antibacterial soap upon returning from the gym kill it?
I suppose it's possible to spread it in the shower, but unlikely. But touching it and then touching another body area can spread it. Showering will kill it as long as it hasn't penetrated and set up shop. But once it has, it requires more treatment. Hope that helps.
150mg Oral Fluconazole Yeast Infection is this can help or no let's me know please thanks
Can I use old medicated Ketoconazole shampoo? I haven’t opened the container so will it still be effective or will I need to throw it away?
Hi doc. Is clobetasol propionate( Glevate) can cure ringworm?
hello doctor! am i able to still use a regular body lotion if i’ve been treating with lotramine and another cream, as well as with a medicated dandruff shampoo per my doctors orders, or will it spread it further? the creams on top of the weather have been drying my skin out and making it painfully dry, so i’m wondering if lotion is ok? i haven’t been able to find any information Anywhere!!! i’ve scoured google, reddit, youtube, everywhere! thank you in advance if you see this, love your content ♥️
and if i am able to, would i apply the non medicated body lotion directly after my shower and then apply my creams on after? or do i wait for my anti fungal creams to absorb completely and then proceed to apply lotion. (i have tinea corporis i believe is how you spell it)
Can we use hydrogen peroxide for Fungal infection?
Isit normal to have a rash that looks like ringworm but it doesn't itch? Cuz I have 1 here. But it doesn't seem to itch. I'm abit worried. I don't want it to spread aswell. Isit okay to just put the fungul cream?
I use clotrimazole and leave it overnight. Is that okay.?? And also when I wake up in the morning it's itchy.
Thanks a bunch... I see a tiny one in my thigh and I think this'll be helpful 😅
Thanks AGAIN!!!😊

Can I use it on my face. Please tell me how to treat ring worm to get rid on my face
but for the more sweaty people like me, its really hard to disinfact with this terbinafine and clotrimazole creams could u plz suggest the strong medicines than those...need it really
next step would be prescription antifungals -- but they are tough on the liver so it's vital to discuss with your doctor.
How about Dermicure cream
I have had mine for like 2 months now and it just finally looks like it's getting a little better, is it normal to last this long? My doctor said to just keep applying the cream
Also...is tolnaftate a good cream or should i get one mentioned in the video?
I'm using terbinafine cream, is that efficient?
Why does it go away for two months and then come back?
It shouldn't as long as you fully eradicated it. I often tell my patients to use the topicals until completely resolved, PLUS one more week to make sure microscopic amounts are not present.
Mine looks like a ring exactly below my left collar bone and this is been growing since quiet a while..no itching at all but the ring like patch has kept increasing in size though....would you mind advising on the same it will be a great help..thanks in advance
it's hard to know without seeing it! If it is ringworm then i would advise my own patients the same treatment i discussed in my video!
Use (clostar gm)cream which consists of clotrimazole

Mam I have already a.ring worm in legs dermovate cream I already tried it but it's not working still a live a ring worm
I haven’t been able of get rid of this for a year now I have tried everything I can, it always comes back please help I don’t know what to do anymore
did you follow the recommendations from the video? Fungus is stubborn, and it often takes 2-3 time applications of the creams along with keeping the area dry for at least one month to get rid of it. And i always tell my patients -- use it until it's gone PLUS one more week to make sure every microscopic amount has been resolved. If this doesn't work, however, i really think a visit to the doctor should be the next step, as there are other conditions that can mimic ringworm.
Majd MD how do I go to the doctor at this time and the pandemic
@@jerkmacaui1018 Most doctors and offices are offering video visits in the U.S. now -- rashes can often be visualized on video. Rashes just require an examination, truthfully, it's not easy to discern what it is without seeing it.
Use itch guard ( terbinafine one) until it goes away completely . Instant relief from itchiness nd ringworm approximately it goes away buy the time u finish 3 of them.
Thank you
my pleasure!
What to use if ringworm in on the scalp in the hair? What to use?
Hello. Are underarms not a typical but still possible place to have ringworm?
grislove14 Yes, definitely possible - fungus loves the folds. This is also why candida intertrigo (another type of fungus) occurs there (i have a video on that, too).

Is it ok to use triamcinolone 0.1% cream?
Hi Dr. Majd, thank you for this information! I started using Clotrimazol Canesten cream a week ago. How long for this to disappear? does it take months? Thank you in advance.
my pleasure! If it truly is ringworm, it shouldn't be months, but weeks (usually by 1 month it's resolved) if used 2-3 times a day. You should see it gradually disappearing.

@@gloriamary6546 Ah, tinea versicolor is a tad different than ring worm. And it responds a little better to ketoconazole topical. Sun exposure makes it more visible. There are oral prescriptions for tinea versicolor if the kecotonazole doesn't help (it can take at least 2 months for it to cause visible change though typically).

Nothing seems to work, it has severely taken over my belly on the lower front, I’ve had this since mid november 2021 !
Before i goto the grocery store and buy all their garlic and take a bath in it …is there anything else I can use? It also gives me horrible cramps
Are you cured? Similar case also caught it a month late before it started spreading immediately after starting treatment
@@Thiswuan I took fluconazole, which my doctor prescribed, one pill once a week, it took about a month and a half for it to go away. it spreads fast, but they weren’t itchy but annoying. My girlfriend never got it. It started as a red ring on my right tricep area I didn’t know what it was until it was too late and spreading, all over my back, butt, arms legs and feet also, neck.. if you don’t want to spread it, keep to yourself as much as possible, take showers last if you share it with someone else, and the pill will attack it, and they will fade away, the last ones I had were just above my ankles and calf area, after they faded I haven’t seen them since. Instead of using creams that are $15 a small tube…just get the pill from your doctor asap , good luck !

Gut malfunction, you probably have Candida. Heal your gut first.
I have been using a cream called Daktacort which is Miconazole nitrate and Hydrocortisone. Is this OK for ring worm?
The miconazole part is an antifungal that can be used for ringworm. The hydrocortisone part is a steroid, however, and although it can help with itching it may worsen ringworm. It can be tried, but miconazole alone would be more ideal. If you don't seem improvement through time or any worsening, i'd switch the the plain miconazole.
