    I’ve had my 15 Pro Max since launch and I’ve been nothing but happy with it tbh. Phone is very comfortable in the hands, battery lasts me all day and then some with moderate to heavy use, cameras are great, USB-C is a long overdue upgrade over lightning, etc.
    I do like your idea of mapping the action button to DND mode. Ive kept mine as a silent/ring switch because I’m creatively bankrupt so I’ll try your idea out.

    I'd say so far so good with the 15 pro. It works really well.
    One thing I'm not going to worry about is that battery setting. It just makes no sense to me to start out killing 20% of your battery so that your battery doesn't degrade 20 percent over a few years.

    • @Fpsnut
      @Fpsnut 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +24

      If you're the kind of person that buys a phone and uses it for 5 years, then only charging it to 80% makes sense. Studies showed that limiting batteries to 80% charge at least doubles the battery life. In a year, you charging your phone to 100% and someone charging their phone to 80% from the start will be about equal. In another year, you will be looking to replace your battery, while a person who only charges to 80% will have a few more years left. If you trade in your phone every year or two, then it doesn't matter.

    3:40 the action button is not a solid state button with haptic feedback. It's an actual button that clicks. You can test by powering off the phone and then press the action button. It still clicks with power off unlike the MacBook trackpad which doesn't click when powered off.

    So just upgraded my iPhone 13 pro max to 15 pro max. I’ll say this much my phone was really dinged up so it was worth the upgrade and battery started to suck. The battery difference and camera are noticeable and having dynamic island now is cool. What made it worth it was the usb type c lol, literally every other device I own uses type c so it’s a miracle imo. I’ll say if you have 14 wait but 13 older you will be happy with your purchase.

      @@hoakimhai Funny I haven’t found time to visit a store (yet). In contrast, white looks classy for me. Aesthetic-wise, I like how it makes the camera module stand out whatever colour one’s case may be. Say when you have a black case, the camera portion kind of camouflages with it, as opposed to having white/titanium, where the cameras look more visible/noticeable. Just my two cents. It varies by personal preference after all. Why does it seem like we’re all after the exteriors now? Lol, maybe internal improvements are just sooooo incremental only few people care 😅

    I loved your video, super enlightening and it cleared up most of my doubts regarding the non-MAX version.
    But I have a question, which is, I use my cell phone mostly for social networks, Spotify, mail, streaming... video games are not my focus at all and I'm not an aggressive camera user, I just use the camera more when I'm going to travel. Do you think the non-MAX version of the Iphone 15 Pro is sufficient for my use without having problems ending the day without a battery?
    I'm asking this question because I'm a big fan of the smaller size of the 15 pro compared to the MAX version and I even prefer the 3x zoom instead of the 5x, but I'm afraid that the battery won't keep up with my use.
    Thank you very much and continue with the great content!

    It all about consumers expectation . If you are using iphone 13 or 14 pro , you may be dissapointed with the new 15 pro because the differrence may be marginal . No point upgrading to 15 pro .
    Ever since Apple started the “ pro “ model in their lineup , i have never buy any pro models . Mainly because i find ergonomically uncomfortable to hold & using stainless steel bring the pro rather heavy to hold for a long time .
    15 pro is now my new Iphone after using mini 13 for almost 2 years. . 15 pro is much more comfortable to hold with less weight.
    Battery life is decent . If you really want a longer battery life , better get the bigger & bulkier promax .

    i don't understand why people always pose the question is it worth upgrading from a previous generation unless they are having problems with their phone or they get a free upgrade etc. You can be satisfied that apple is making marginal improvements from generation to generation so that when your old phone craps out, the current generation is up to date and ready. Verizon offered me a very generous trade in for my 13 mini and the upgrade is insane and Im glad that I am getting two generations newer processor and other developments. That's all there is to it, progress is marching forward.
