The big problem I would have with this card is that most purchases I make are not with Apple Pay. Utilities, Insurance, Online Shopping, travel expenses, etc. I’d rather just have a 2% cash back card on everything no matter if it’s Apple Pay or not.
That is a good point. That is why I use Citi double cash for those type of purchases, but their app is not as well designed as the wallet app, if that is something you care about.
@@TheTechRabbitHole I could care less about the app...I just want the money! :D everything is on autopay, and I only check the app monthly to review transactions.
The card is fine as long as you don't care about having a high credit limit, or maximizing cash back. For most people, this card is going to give you credit limits on the lower end, and less cash back than you can get from using a 2% card or another specialized cashback card like the Amazon Prime Card, US Bank Shoppers Card or Go Card, or the various other cashback cards offering 2-3% back on major categories.
For my experience Apple card gives good credit limit, and they are relatively generous. It gives you 2% on all purchases. And yes, if you want to maximize cashbacks, you can add more specialized cards to use along with it.

@@TheTechRabbitHole it does not give 2% on all purchases, only on places that accept Apple pay. Plenty of places do not.
