Chasing a no start when hot issue on the 2012 kx450 I just got. Valves are in spec, fuel pump leaks and has a huge glob of weld stick on the bottom. New pump and clean my injector I hope does the trick.

@@danjim7056 you think leaking head gasket is the problem with hot start issue? I replaced my stator, starter relay, starter motor spent a fortune, turns out it was just the spark plugs 😂. What other bikes have you got man?
@@triple.pistons seeing how the plug Is new and the headgasket is leaking causing low compression I absolutely say its the headgasket. Its a bitch to start cold as well. it's a long list. Xl100, yz426, wr426, yz85, cr80, kx450, yxz1000r, yfz450, trx70, atc70, atc185, atc200x, atc200x, couple China pitbikes, ozark250, and a spree lol. I think that's it.
I don't know if my injectors were just unique.... I was cleaning the injectors on my 2007 Suzuki boulevard c50... but these do not form a good seal around the injector. It kept popping off. I had to duct tape the injectors on to the plastic piece to get it to stay... and it also doesn't form a good seal around the injector cleaner bottle.... It leaked a whole bunch onto my garage floor
Old wives tale! And yes I have much experience with battery maintenance! I KNOW THAT BECAUSE I SELL THEM TOO! HAVE A BATTERY IN MY TRUCK THAT IS 10 YRS. OLD. THE KEY IS FLOAT CHARGING!
@@darylrudick There is no potential between the ground and the plastic case of the battery, therefore by definition it is "floating"...At least that's the physics they teach in college where I attended and became an Engineer....but, if you say so....It works for me..

You didn't show the cleaning process and if that particular injector cleaner actually cleaned the injector allowing more fuel to flow.
