Great idea!!
Turning clockwise is less fuel**
My bleeder broke off so I just bleed through the fitting on the line.
I haven't checked mine on my 07 dyna in over 25k miles
Thank you man. Just showed me how AutoZone always gives bad parts. I knew my original was bad so I replaced w an AutoZone one and it stayed revving on high rpms. So I went on TH-cam cuz ik it’s the valve and I seen ur video so I decided to open up the new one and I seen how it was stuck and malfunctioning. It wasn’t fully spinning or closing. Just ordered a new one thanks to you!
Excellent
You literally ruined whatever those fasters are holding
That would be a rotor that’s going in the garbage can. Hence why I said you can do this as long as the rotor is going in the garbage.

Did it work?
Always does.

Hey y'all, here is what you all waiting for : CHOOSING AN ADVANCE CURVE The advance curves are named in the attached curves. Which advance curve is most appropriate for your engine will depend on several factors. These may include: level of modification of the engine, weight of bike and rider, type of gasoline used, air temperature, altitude, etc. A good procedure would be to start with curve 36A which is similar to the curve used in the stock ignition module. If you experience any "pinging" at low to midrange RPM, try Group B curves, then Group C if necessary to get rid of the pinging. If your bike runs well on curve 36A, try more advance after several miles and find out if your motor likes more advance. Generally, you should run the highest number curve in Group A that you can without causing any pinging. Curve Group B is designed to reduce midrange pinging in high torque motors that produce well over 1 ft. lb./cu. in. at about 2000 to 4000 RPM. Group C is designed for turbo and nitrous applications only. The actual curves are shown at the end of these instructions. CHOOSING THE REV LIMIT The DYNA DSPT-1 ignition offers rev limits from 6250 RPM to 8500 RPM, in various RPM steps. The maximum RPM that a motor can be safely revved to depends on many factors, including camshaft design and valve spring selection. MAP SENSOR FUNCTION The DYNA DSPT-1 module reads the stock Manifold Air Pressure sensor at the bottom of each intake stroke, and varies the advance between the Wide Open Throttle and Part Throttle curves. Using this advance scheme, the DYNA TC88-3 always provides advance that is optimized for both part and full throttle operation. The actual advance curves are shown at the end of these instructions. SENSORS AND DEVICES The DYNA DSPT-1 module interfaces directly with all stock sensors and devices including the Tachometer and Speedometer. The DYNA DSPT-1 module will allow the bike to run normally if the stock devices are removed. Hope it'll help ! Greetings from Guadeloupe island, french west indies.
It's just a copy/paste of my user's manual sheet. 😅
I use a dollar store turkey baster. Fun fact, used brake fluid makes a great fire starter. Some people say..... it also makes a great weed killer.
lol nice!
Just push it out the bleeder valve while simultaneously topping it off till it runs clear.
This bike has 14 inch bars with 6 plus tubes. Not ideal to do it that way
I bought a pack of large syringes that comes in handy for stuff like this.
Awesome yeah I used to do that back in the day, but I found this way the safest without spilling anything or dripping a drop anywhere.
That's smart haha
Thanks!
Dang I normally push it all the way thru to the caliper because the fluid mid line and high up normally not all broken down by heat like the stuff right off the caliper anyway.
That’s definitely a way to do it also but I was replacing the brake lines on this particular job
@@willcountypowersports6338 both ways are indeed correct! Your method is better if you have little flakes inside the reservoir for sure. Or just swapping it out without having to bleed air into the lines.
Do you have to lift your bike?Make it level, or can I just do it while it's on the kickstand?
That is correct you want to lift the bike and have it leveled or have somebody hold it leveled while doing the primary fluid check
F that!
What type of syringe is best for this? I'm about to fill a completely new system.
So I don’t know the exact name of the one that I used, but I did a quick Amazon search. TIHOOD 16PCS 12ml/cc Plastic Syringes Set, Syringe with Curved Tip and Straight Tip, Disposable Irrigation Syringe Mouthwash Cleaner for Oral Care, Animal Feeding, with Measurement If you type that into Amazon, that’s what I use with a hose on the end
On my sportster advance set on 34A and rev limit 6250 rpm. Dunno what it means (bought it used) but hope all good 😅
I would set it at 28C And you could run that rpm’s at 6500
It's quite like stock ICM settings. Use that if it's a totally stock bike. For more infos check out my comment below. 😉
Is that notch not made for drainage? And WD40 is a helluva tool.
The notch is there for removal and doesn’t allow it to drain properly even if it is allowing it to. As we can see in the video.
Awesome video, way better than the others. Thank you
Thanks!
can you install the oring without removing the pushrod?
Unfortunately, you cannot
Are these cams the ones that you can use stock pushrods and valve springs ?
Yes
Is the lid of the master cylinder open or not?
It’s open in the video
Thanks, sorry I'm newbie. Btw great video, keep this kind of content, it helps people like me. Tysm.
Looking into grabbing one of these but I was curious will this ICM allow me to start the bike without the TSM? trying to reduce the amount of wires on my bike.
I would 100% go with the twintech but I’m not 100% sure on that to answer your question
In a past video you installed extended damper rods, do those extended damper rods work with the gold valve emulators? If you went back to the stock dampers, do you still have the additional 2” of lift in the front? Thank you
I’m not sure if it would work or not given the fact that I didn’t run the emulators with the longer rods.
I came to this video to learn how the forks with the gold valve emulators work. I'm going to upgrade my forks with a kit from Traxxion.
Awesome
The don’t fuckin do that was so funny to me😂 true experience talking
Absolutely
Seems a bit counterintuitive that a spacer makes it shorter. In my head i imagine thr spacer creating more expansion, thus taller.
More center now good idea makes sense 🤘🏼
Makes me wanna check mine now lol
If you swing arm is wobbling around, I would definitely consider it
Perfect explanation thank you keep up the good work
Thanks!
Dude thank you, i was not understanding those instructions
Awsome!
My car stalls mostly in cold times when its idle /throttling could this be the problem?
It could potentially be I would try this and see if it helps.
@@willcountypowersports6338 What else could It possibly be?
I’m about to do these cams on my 2000 1200s
Your words of “lining up” are indeed not LINED up lol. You need to need to use “lined up clock angles” lined up is level… but great video
Forsure bud
your trippin😂 looks lined up to me
Fixed my issue, big thank you from Sweden! 🇸🇪
Awesome!!
Thank you so much for explaining and solved this problem ( salutations de Algérie)
Your welcome
How’d you wire the headlight up?
The headlight plugs right into the oem connector.
Dumb ass basically made a promotional video for eBay where he got the kit bit decides not to show the kit in use waste of time....
thank you it helped me a ton
Your welcome
What bike you building ?
Sporty
Thicker fluid effects both sides of dampening compression and rebound
I'll be swapping some bearings into my new Trac swingarm if/when they send it (not a fun process to deal with them lol)
I went with the Brembo RCS15 master cylinder, HEL performance braided line to a Brembo m4 monoblock with magnetic pistons, Brembo pads and a 13 inch Galfer rotor and for a single rotor setup it is AMAZING!
That sounds like one hell of a set up. That’s awesome!
That's a killer setup! I have 1 inch bars with a Brembo RCS and all that good stuff but I wish they were 7/8 haha
Thanks! I’m a big fan of the 7/8 set up
From my experience all Harley models have the exposed, magnet rotor assemblies from the factory.
Yea I believe they make them just good enough to get outa warranty and fail so the buyer upgrades. Do the high end model Harleys have the same kinda quality?
