Every time I see Steve Sullivan's name, I think of the game the Blackhawks had in Denver and Steve got cut, so some fan was busting his chops. Then, later, the same fan got hit with a puck over the glass and got cut and Steve was busting the fan's chops.

Great video, Shannon. Two similar players from the same era who are also in the 700 point, 1000 game range are Adam Brunette and Geoff Sanderson. Those two would be interesting choices for a career video.

My first jersey was an '03 Nashville Predators alternate with a Sullivan nameplate :) still my favourite all time player.
Not surprised Don extolled his virtues. This guy is a hockey player, and remarkably consistent. Drafted at what position? Yeah,,,just shows what intangibles mean. , I strongly endorse your HOF inductee. This sort of consistency is rare.

Damn, Toronto just waived him? Pretty bizarre to do that to a promising young player who had scored 20 goals the previous season. Who was the coach back then? Pat Quinn?

I have a Sullivan Nashville jersey I had to custom make, I was waiting in a line at a game and the guy behind me taps my shoulder and says “Love the Jersey, I’ll take a picture and send it to Sully.” I have no idea who that guy was but I probably should’ve
Remember he had a 4 goal game against Florida (IIRC) in 98-99. Hate how Quinn gave him up for nothing. He always lit the Leafs up after that.
Crazy to think that when he joined the Devils in 95 Marty Brodeur was already there and when he came back in 2013 Brodeur was still there, 16 years later.
You need a better type face for the title page. Sometimes it barely readable.
He'll always be known for one game in particular where he gets mocked by a fan after he gets clipped in the face. Then that same fan gets hit with a puck and is bleeding even more and pays the fan back. Believe Steve Sullivan also scored two short handed goals in that game.

@@FrankieHresko Zidlicky yes loved em.Had his,Timonen,Sullivan's ,Tootoo and Voukouns old jerseys.I used to go to games a lot back then,till prices went up when the Bandwagon started but hey at least it helped us keep the team. I was worried we would lose them in 07.But hey we didn't. It Was good times indeed!

@@FrankieHresko Yeah it was always full but the former owners thought it could be more profitable to move to Hamilton Ontario! But the buyers were caught selling tickets to residents in Hamilton without first getting permission, no stadium and the fact the team still belonged to Nashville. So a bunch of local investors bought it. We haven't had to worry about it again. The Tennessee Titans would probably be moved again before the Preds ever leave and both those probably won't happen in my lifetime at least. I'm 43 so.
