Walter Gretzky boy. What a great human being. I remember meeting him in the mid 90’s in Brantford. We played in the Walter Gretzky tournament. That man made a point of showing up to each an every game, greeting parents greeting kids. We’re talking A level hockey here. 25 years later I took my stepson to Walters tournament and sure as shit that old fella was there greeting these young kids and their families. What a fucking Canadian treasure.

Theo's turtleneck-mullet is like seeing a librarian who doubles as a swamp tour guide. His neck's whispering 'Shhh' in a library, but the mullet's yelling ''Stir the gumbo!" on a fanboat. When you hear of the GOAT of certain sports, when it comes to hockey, Wayne Gretzky was and still is the best of the best.

This is one role model that I had as a kid that has never let me down. I grew up in Northern Ontario and I used to watch all of the games, That team they had in Edmonton was stacked, that was some of the best hockey I have ever watched. I do not think Wayne will ever have an equal. He was an amazing player, he was also a great person off the ice and gave a lot back to the sport, maybe more than anyone else. My favorite moment was when Canada won at the Olympics in 2002 with one of the best teams ever put together.

When I was in high school I got to caddie for Wayne when he golfed at Saticoy. It was always such a pleasure. The kindest and nicest guy. He’d learn my name and he tipped really well. Genuine guy
