I've owned three Q50's. The "dated" tech design still works fine! I prefer the two screens over the modern single screen. The driving characteristics of this car as an everyday performance sports sedan beat everything else out there in its class. I would NOT trade it for a supposed comparable Audi, Acura, Lexus, or BMW. And I've driven most of them. Thanks for you honest review!

I always think that’s hilarious when people say dated tech. Please be very very specific. How is Apple CarPlay dated is a 360 camera dated? Quit just being a parrot and repeating everything you hear from the automotive journalist they are not car guys. If infinity would refresh this model and put the latest greatest things everybody would complain about the price then that’s why you have Tacoma that are just a basic trim costing almost $50,000 because of stupid idiots saying they want more tech.
@@user-yn4cn3el5q Are you serious? The infotainment system's user interface looks like it's from 2010. No one's exaggerating here; if you compare the interiors, exteriors and tech with Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Acura, and Lexus, you can clearly see how far behind Infiniti is. Infiniti used to be great, but now they're just holding on to the success they had in the early 2000s. This car is from 2024 and my mother's 2016 Honda CRV has better camera quality. At this price point brand new, this is just unacceptable from Infiniti and its unfortunate cause the Q50 has a lot of power with a great engine but is lacking in everything else

Great car. Sexy design and has looked great a long time and is better looking than many cars on the road. It's quick. I like the 2 touch screens. Swap the tires with some Michilin A/S Pilot Sport 4's or some Conti DSW06's and the car is night and day different. Actual nice tires and it handles and rides so much better. It's quick for sure and is a bit of a sleeper. Premium stereo sounds good too. It's a roomy car. Many of it's competitors have smaller interiors and cramped back seats. It's a shame Infiniti retired this model after 2024.

I’m “older” so the tech doesn’t bother me in the least but this looks like a fantastic car for someone looking for commuter fun. I guarantee it’ll do all that you want it to. I recently purchased an Acura TLX type s and I love the thing.
All of the cars in this class will be greatly missed once they are gone. We won’t appreciate how good we had it until everything is hybrid/electrified.

I have a black 2019 rs400. 54k mi. Strong as sh*t just had to do breaks 2k miles ago. Benefit of sport+ aggressive downshift. Looks way better than that blue thing in the vid. Man ain’t flatterin the Rs4 at all in that vid. It’s a way better looking car

Truly a nice car..separate the accessory "doo-dads" from the serious stuff. Has to be rewarding to drive and own. Not a minimalists vehicle! Very good review as usual..fascinating car, not in every garage!!
Agreed. More of a niche car. But if you like sports sedans, it’s a fun drive.

I’ve owned two q50’s one has 3.7 awd and q50 3.0t luxe first got totaled and the 2nd one got stolen which is totaled lost. I’m looking for the red sport around my area and bout to buy new one. I’ve looked around with bmw, Lexus, Audi and other cars can’t take my eye on the q50 they’re aggressive
That is a pretty fascinating area you are in Chabby; where is it? Lots of open spaces, homes are far apart, with sense of freedom.

Still a beautiful looking car, it’s unfortunate the interior still is so dated compared to similar models. $68K for this model is insane given what competitors are selling for
Hey Brosef. It stickers for $61k. These don't sticker for $68k. No Q50 does. Even the Black Opal is like $63k. I like the interior and the 2 screens. What it's missing is ventilated seats and wireless android auto. It has wireless Apple carplay though. With some Michelin A/S 4's or Conti DSW06's it's a totally different car. The runflats suck. Car is fast and is a bit of a sleeper.
