- Eko Atlantic Lagos Nigeria. Whats Inside? a lot of people have asked me this question, decided to strap up and make a video about this city called Eko Atlantic.
Some people also refer to it as the Dubai in Africa. Was able to capture some drone footage of Eko Atlantic and also some of the completed apartments in the Eko pearl tower in the city, the major one i covered is called Gidi Apartments. Enjoy

Great job. Allow enough seconds for the texts to be readable. They currently just flash and disappear, making people need to pause. You dont know where your vids would reach. If it get to tv then your texts would be unreadable
I hope they can build this city as fast as Dubai was built. I can Imagine here being a Top 5 tourist destination of the world when its completed. Ive fallen completely in love with Africa, and to see a project like this coming to life is exactly what the continent needs! Generate more tourism in the country. People still think Africa is not "vacation worthy"

I'm quite impressed xd. Eko Atlantic City is where life should be spent in the near future. This gives we Nigerians in diaspora a great hope and will enable us to come home with our $$$$$, €€€€€, £££££ to invest more for the improvement of the economy. Eko Atlantic City is not yet finished but already a success. A City building with the latest technology in the world, there's no doubt that Nigeria and Africa is the future. Clearly this is one major step to earning our respect from the world. With a project like this in every major cities in the country, who would want to travel out of the country. It will even soften immigration policies on us as we will be in competition with other most visited countries. Thumbs Up Lagos.

Respect from the world? Really! That's the way you see it. But Nigerians need more respect among themselves than they need from the world. Who cares. My own point of view. That's what Fela called "Colonial Mentality". Wanting the respect of the world more than the respect of your own people. I believe we younger generation of Nigerians don't give a shit. Many live and toil in the West and know that it's not rocket science to build and make a city function seamlessly. But doing things the old and "corrupt" way is what is holding the nation down. That's the hurdle that need to crossed.

I hope they do have a fire station that's functioning. It's easy to build in Nigeria but they lack management.

I first i thought of when i saw how tall the tower is. Hope they’ve prepared for emergency situations.
If I remember it was supposed to have a hospital on one of the streets.
Not sure about fire station but I infer they'll have thought about first responders (police, fire fighters and paramedics).

This is an awesome project, nice video too. The only problem I have is the high level of imbalance in Nigeria's development. More attention is focused on Lagos alone which makes population and cost of living very high.
there's is alot of truth to this, I believe if the transportation system in Nigeria was improved upon, development to other parts of Nigeria would be on the Increase.
Finally, a professional film producer did it. We can't wait to see you do a full documentary on Abuja city potentials and landscapes. Your videos are so futuristic. Sky is your beginning!

While I hate to dampen the mood of this beautiful video, it is hard to ignore the paradox of life in Lagos.
With it being a man made island and the presence of continuous water erosions, are we prepared/preparing for evacuations when natural disasters occur?
While I'm one for gentrification and development projects, the middle class in Nigeria has vanished. So who are those that will be living and working in places as this? Are we further widening inequality in terms of finance and even health? I mean who will have access to hospitals in such a place as this and be able to afford the bill? How much more access will this give to the average Nigerian to own homes or rent apartments?
I love the concept of building tall/high not wide. Saves space and you can accommodate more.
What about electricity? "Up NEPA?"

Yeah...it started off with that classic handwriting effect of "EKO ATLANTIC" ice. While it was entertaining it was educative and informative too. And once again the epic drone kill shots. I don't know why didn't you do a 360 shot of the towers and then speed ramp and slow mo around it? Great video once again.

Your production was great and I love the way you captured the aerial view. the drone aerial view surpasses my expectation.The apartment you showed is beautiful except I'm a little disappointed with the bathroom. A bathroom with traditional bathtub in this modern age!I am equally disappointed with the transportation system for the Eko Atlantic: the road is too small and would not be able to handle the expected population of half a million. The idea of the Canal is great, my issue is the size. For the road I'd expected a very wide road network with separate middle lane for BRT/tramp/light city rail.aside the issues with the Eko Atlantic itself, I think your production is great

Nigerians are yet to catch up with bathrooms. I've seen too many average bathrooms in so called luxury houses and apartments. The sinks is what throws me off.

After viewing a video about Malaysia's $100 billion city being built from scratch, Forest City and tons of other developments in Iskandar Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia, I have to say "It's about time!" Truth ismost ofour so-called "mansions" in Lekki phase 1 and Victoria Island are not even close to affordable housing projects in these Asian countries! We have to also upgrade our constitution tradesmanship. Plumbers, electricians, drafters, tillers all need to be trained in Technical Colleges (TVET) in modern construction methods such as prefab manufacturing, BIM modelling, and interpreting building codes (which we have but no one follows).
And we need to stop building GRAs, rich enclaves forthe political class and their cronies in the private sector, but need to build new inclusive cities similar to what Singapore did shortly after independence. When that happens then Nigerians can live up to their full potentials.
