For $1million the interior decor and home appliances are quite bland. Absolutely nothing stands out aside from the location and the view. I guess that’s what people pay for but for a million they can do better with decor *my opinion*

The location and services and exclusivity jacks up the prices. 1 million dollar apartments you can get where I am aren’t as isolated as this place. Plus they’re definitely not located in a futuristic mega city.

@@outlyfe7570 This same apartment type was advertised for $2.4 mil, some months back. If it was selling so fast it won't be marked down so fast. It's been advertised for over a year now, are the flats unlimited in supply? definitely not.

Apartment in Lagos is extremely expensive, i think the location alone is $900,000 lol, cos this apartment would easily go for $100,000 if not less lol
it's overpriced because it's the first building like that and the location. the price will drop drastically as more buildings are coming up. just save up your money and buy then for people that like good stuff. Good content Tayo.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. They charge an excessive amount of money for the most basic things but I have to remind myself that maybe it cost more to get things over there than in the US

When will Eko Atlantic construction be completed?
You could be buying one of those apartments with a view now but then a year later several skyscrapers could be built all around you
A new skyscraper just got completed
The area should have a master plan which means you would know if any more skyscrapers would be built.
Then people will see the full beauty of the city. I don't think it's overpriced, I think it might even go up one day.

I agree. The kitchen is wrongly placed or shaped. Too small as well. And I agree with everyone that has said the interior is basic. Although the light fixtures are alright. I guess the owners would remodel when they buy it

I so don't like this apartment, for the price, it is very small and nothing about it wows me. The location is what makes it pricey.

These guys are just selling location!!! Other than the location, I don’t see why this apartment is worth $1 million. The interior design is basic, the apartment lacks space, kitchen so small, living room small, even the master bedroom is so small you can’t fit a reading table into it. 🤦🏽 With that $1 million dollars I know what I can build else where.

Folks, as much I as I love the videos, what none of the presenters are talking about while showing us all the upscale housing options is: Very few folks in Africa no matter which country can afford them. Equally, who would invest in countries that have a healthcare /educational system not even remotely to western countries (which is perhaps why those who can afford it receive their education/medical care in the west). Furthermore, who would want to invest in countries with unstable political systems where your investment might be jeopardized? I live in the US (originally from Europe) and for the reasons just mentions would never invest in any of those countries unless I see a remediation to the issues I just mentioned. Africa is a great continent with immense potential, young population who deserves better with governance that is not corrupt and does not sell out their people and raw commodities to the Chinese(more could be said)

Naira is selling 425 to 1 on black market. This will only crash further to 500 to 1 and maybe farther. Why would anyone pay dollars for this? Why would they pay over 1 million. They would be lucky to move the building for $500,000 a unit on average.
The apartment is just basic. The view and location is what makes this expensive.

Land in Lagos metro area is ridiculously expensive from what I understand.
It’s because it’s close to the coast line and Lagos is a small city so there’s high demand for land

Why is that in Nigeria everything is a luxury, i don’t see anything exquisite, or special in this apartment.... some middle class neighborhoods in LA or NY has better apartments way cheaper than this.... Nigeria always like to waste their scarce resources on frivolities....

Go to NYC and you'll see apartments that look exactly like this priced at $1 Million. Highly populated cities all over the world have high rent, same thing in LA and NYC.

Like pretty much everywhere in the world, what you are sold is primarly location! Furniture, appliances or not, they will still sell you those apartments and houses for a lot of money. Worth it or not? Depends on who you are talking to. That's why I just enjoy this type of videos for the quality content that Tayo is offering us whether I would buy/rent or not and keep it moving! ✌🏽❤

They are also very generous with the space surrounding of the house. Why are the houses in Nigeria overpriced. Can you link us up with those architect. Can they explore those high tech in Nigeria? Compared to what I'm seeing in Nigeria, theirs is way sooooo oooo cheap.
