I've just bought a new diesel, cash, it's beautiful. It's black. It tows ace for miles and miles without worrying about if I'll make it past the next refuelling station
Great fella , I just hope these ev,s when older don’t bring out the nightmare deep inhaling repairing feckers. Who pray on any one 🤡
The vehicle registration system in Pommy land seems to be VERY Weird
Maybe contact the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office) and make a complaint about this guy Barrie. There are new laws regarding "false/misleading" information being posted online. I do believe it comes under the Online Safety Bill.
Evs are so expensive 😫 They don't last as long as ice vehicles. However, subsidies will continue to screw the playing field.
What's your basis that EVs don't last as long as ICE? In respect to subsidies, what is the comparison which includes subsidies to oil and to grid?
Re your comment at 16:00, in 3 years how will used prices compare between ICE and the EV Frontera?
@@mickjoebills Look to the MG ZS I guess ???
The EV version was way more than ICE version, but a 20/21 s/hand one will normally find the more expensive ZS EV is cheaper like for like than the not so great 1.5 petrol ZS model
2020 ZS EV Exclusive was nearly £30k - £3.5k government incentive
2020 ZS 1.5 Exclusive I think was around £19-£20k
Both can be had for around 10 grand mark, with many ZS EV's being caned on mileage as ex-Uber cabs
So if the Frontera starts at same price (likely inflate ICE version to obtain parity after cutting EV cost)
I'd say the Frontera EV will be considerably cheaper, when starting at same initial rrp
Miss sold and EV?
Maybe you could get compensation.

Because the Labour "government" is clearly going to hammer ordinary working people like me and my family in the budget I have decided to defer buying a new car for the foreseeable future.
As for EVs the problem for me is insurance premium quotes on several EVs are much higher than for my ICE car and I will also have to spend £1000 on a home charger. When said home charger finally breaks as all things do it would cost another several hundred pounds to replace it.
As road tax is no less than for ICE cars now (mine only costs £20 per year anyway) and the insurance premiums I've been quoted are 30 percent higher any savings I might make are just on petrol versus home charging costs and they nowhere near
cover the additional
costs I've mentioned above. An EV for me is a poor choice and that excludes any repair costs which are reported in the trade as 30 percent higher than for an ICE car. Add to all of this that electricity costs for home charging are inevitably going to rise to cover future infrastructure investment and the case for an EV vanishes.
He knows he's lying sadly the world is full of them, those inexperienced sadly swallow those lies.
