Jack, I recently did a transmission oil change. Took my GTR to the local nissan delership to do a relearn but they told me there is no TCM communication. Any idea why this could be happening?
Question, so my GTR randonly started having a small lag after 2nd gear, specially on Auto Its a small hiccups, after that & before that smal lag runs perfectly find, people saying i need a clutch relearn? Some say trand oil fluid change?
What does the message say exactly? AWD Clutch Temp High? Of that is your message then you burned up your ETS and it needs to be rebuilt. Link below with more info: jackstransmissions.com/blogs/pages/gtr-ets-awd-unit-rebuild
@@34seltzer that is the main clutch. I would need to see a TCM Datalog to know why this is happening. The TCM thinks the clutch is slipping excessively.
Ok It is a friend’s of mine that I’m looking at buying but I wanted to make sure it’s not a major issue before I buy it. It has 55,562 miles and he said he never had the front and rear diff and trans fluid changed. I’m pretty sure he should have had it changed around 35,000 miles I told him. It’s a 2014 Black Edition and it’s all stock. He just changed tires also and it only seemed to start doing it after he replaced the rear tires.

What would cause a TM overheated warning when I’m driving and then give it full throttle

Do you think changing the fluids would help? Which fluid do you recommend Motul DCTF, or Amsoil DCT or factory Nissan GTR fluid or something else?
