I’m glad you did the limited edition because it’s the best version. Unfortunately most people buy the standard one which is very harsh in the beginning. The standard version is half the price of this one though
First of all, thank you! To get a dupe review from you is a big deal to me, personally, because I have a good mixture of dupes and original perfumes. My small collection has to fit into my budget and your specialty of chemistry background and creator of a perfume house creates a unique environment for reviews. Fantastic Review!!
I would really like if you would also review Club de Nuit Sillage vs Silver Mountain Water and Club de Nuit Milestone vs Millesime Imperiale, I think that these would make an interesting video
This is one of my favorite reviews ever. Aventus has gone so far downhill that it must be boycotted. My husband used to use Aventus until he finally but a bottle of CDNIM a couple of years ago and thought it to be a dead ringer for his 2010 Aventus batch. So he decided buying Aventus was just stupid and now he layers the CDNIM with Al Haramain L'Aventure for the whole Aventus vibe and sometimes even Terre D'hermes for an even more classy and unique scent. The results are heavenly.
I own Creed Aventus and also CDNIM Parfum Edition, i must say Armaf has a better longevity and better projection but I still prefer Aventus it's smells somehow more natural if makes sense. I had people asking what is the frag. you wearing I need to buy it for my husband was Armaf 🤦😳
I personally feel like if you like a scent and don't want to pay an outrageous price for a name then there is nothing wrong with wearing a dupe as long as you don't go trying to pass it off for the real thing. Some of us out there don't really have the budget to afford a $300 dollar by Killian fragrance but can afford a $50 Alexandria fragrance dupe that smells almost 💯 the same.
I've never been more sad than the time i found out that LNDL by YSL has been reformulated. It was literally the best fragrance for me, now it became reaaallyy bad that i get disgusted from and wash the sprays out of me
I have the original formula - its literally just a heavy lavender with a slight spice. No depth, no transitions, no top note, just... a lavender bakery smell. So boring! - You'll find something better. LNDL is almost like what white bread would smell like if it was flavored with lavender.
@@oceansoflorewi you're definitely right. It's linear, non offending, safe fragrance. As a doctor this fragrance gives a feeling of familiarity and reassurance to my patients. They even missed it. Ps: in my culture, i think we have a different ingredients of bread because people couldn't relate to it.
Smell wise its actually almost entirely the same. And it never was a good performer just like the one by d&g but people say it was a beast, that’s a myth.
It’s the most complimented fragrance I’ve ever worn and the cheapest. The limited edition really suits my skin . I’ve always struggled to find the right fragrance for myself . This one does just that and at a fraction of the cost of my previous buys . These Saudi houses are really starting to make their mark . I’ll always ask someone wearing a fragrance I like , what it is ? Many recently have been from Middle Eastern fragrance houses .
@@gunersozen905 I’ve had loads of batches and all been the same. Had around 6 bottles since its release . You will need it to macerate for a few weeks to get the best out of it .
On behalf of the vast majority, thanks for this, Aaron. It couldn't have been easy, and we all loved watching you barely maintain a straight face here. 8/10!!! Let's go!
Aventus batches have varied so much over its lifetime. Some of the earlier batches were really fruity and pineapple heavy, while others were really smoky. The first time I tried it was in 2012 and it was a pure smoke bomb but I couldn't remember which batch it was and even ones during the same year would have slight variations. The holy grail batches are those that were made prior to 2015 in my opinion, or at least when they still used non-IFRA compliant oakmoss. The best batch I've tried is 15U01. It was the perfect balance between fruity pineapple and smoky birch tar and leather and was a beast in terms of performance.
Your soft quiet voice with the background music is the most soothing fragrance review I have heard in my life! Don't take this as an insult but I could fall asleep to your reviews! Love it!
Ok, so this is the Limited Edition. I’ll have to try it. I bought the CFNIM edt because I heard so many great things about it. Then when I sprayed it, it was pretty bad. It smelled like lemon cleaner and it gave me a headache every time I tried it. I actually returned it. Then again, I tried Aventus after I tried CDNIM EDT cause I was told it was one of the best scents is the world and i actually hated it too. Wouldn’t have bought it either. I don’t know what it is about that scent dna but it’s so tricky to me.
They smell the same. Its a pinapple scent and people say it smells like pinesol but the same can be said about the OG. Its just people following whatever the haters say and then it creates a bias.
@@Alexsignal90 I didn’t come into CDNIM being a hater at all. I really wanted to like it and actually bought it but it was just too harsh for me. As far as Aventus, it just didn’t work for me. Maybe I’m just sensitive to this type of scent. I’m going to try the limited edition that Aaron reviewed here and see how it works for me. I really love Montblanc explorer but I really wish it could last a bit longer. The smell of Explorer is the best smelling to me in this dna

Nice review. I have Aventus and have owned the CdNIM. Sold the Armaf. It was good, but it's simply not Aventus. Thumbs down to all of the Creed "haters". Aventus is one of the greatest scents ever created.
Hello Mr Aaron. I had a chance to sample the onyx extreme from my friend . I was absolutely stunned when I smelt it. That chocolaty smell and the rose is something to die for. Very well blended
I have a few Creeds, Aventus and Aventus Cologne which I prefer. Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man gets more compliments than Creed it is the cheapest version EDT I also have EDP. I don’t have Limited Edition. I have a few Armaf clones and most are excellent, especially Killan Rose Oud clone, lasts forever. Lovely and interesting presentation by you. 👍

To my surprise you said you liked it. Bravo to you sir. Love the honesty of your channel. This video got you another sub. Going to look into your fragrances too.
That's the type of clone I deeply respect because it delivers what the original one is supposed to deliver while ripping off customers. I'm not even sure if we can call these types of fragrances "clone" when the original one is either reformulated or discounted.
Aaron I just wanted to thank you for your knowledge as well as your creativity with your Frangrances. I recently took advantage of your maxaroma special and purchased 8 of your fragrances. You are the first perfumer in which I can get the pure breakdown and story of your fragrances and they are extraordinary. Patchouli Noir is my favorite as well as Raw Cherry. I will definitely be getting your Oud when you relaunch as I am fascinated with how it will be presented. Thank you for being you and for celebrating the perfume world. Forget the haters, because what you are doing is remarkable.
Great review of a remarkable fragrance (for the price). I really like the fact that you actually wore the fragrance before the review instead of using your expertise to surmise what the performance, scent character and development will be from what essentially is a first impression (of the opening). As knowledgeable as you are and as an experienced perfumer its great to get your fully informed take from an extended wearing. Hopefully all (or most) of your reviews from now on will adopt this protocol.
Great review, I like the limited edition of CDNIM. Since clones are on the rise I hope you review some of good ones like Afnan 9PM, Lattafa Fakhar, Al Haramain L'adventure etc. Youre the best!
ps I finally bought Creed Aventus after owning all the dupes in the world (slight exaggeration) and was SUPER dissappointed. £300 for that?! If it wasn't so laughable, I'd be sick with regret.
Love it. Thx for validating my nose. I never pick up Aventus now that I own CDNIM LE. The dry down, off skin, is intoxicating in the air. When your body heats up, it will create a cloud around you.
I love this cologne! I call this my heavy hitter it is dense and intense and that lemon pops when you first spray it and drys down well. It's the only cologne I have that I put on before work at 1:30 p.m. and when I get off at 10:30 my brother calls me Mr cologne and he tells me it's still strong 12-plus hours before it becomes a skin sent for me.
I have this but the Pure Parfum version. It's toned down a bit and isn't as sharp but it puts me in the same headspace as what Aventus does. I've had bottles of Aventus going back to 2011 and yes, it's similar. I think the original Aventus from over a decade ago was more dark and creamy than what CDNIM smells like but there are some similarities. For the cost of this and what it does, it's a no-brainer! Cheers!
i just got the 200ml bottle EDP 4 days ago and it the best fragrance i have ever purchased. it's perfection and everyone who has smell it around me loves it.
Great vid as always, Would be interested in you reviewing the EDT and EDP versions of CDIM. I believe reviewed the LE Parfum ver. There’s also a PURE Parfum version.
I had this fragrance and sold it, I didn’t feel comfortable wearing a dupe. I could smell the similarities but felt it was a synthetic version of the original. Wish I kept it now and did the layering with the genuine Aventus. Great idea.
While there may be a TON of fragrance influencers, and their videos, on TH-cam, Aaron stands in a class of his OWN. You get the sense he really KNOWS what he's talking about, enabling you to fully appreciate and respect WHATEVER he has to say about whatever fragrance he's talking about. 👍🙂
Love what you do! I had this, it didn't last on my skin but on clothes yes. Payed 40 euros on Amazon, traded it for BLEU de Chanel :) Would love to see a review for Dolce & Gabbana THE ONE Gold EDP Intense and Diesel Spirit Of The Brave Intense EDP!
This is one of your best and most honest vids YET. We all are waiting for that day when you will compare the original niche fragances like creed, xerjoff and roja parfums to the clone houses like armaf, lattafa and others 🙌
The EDT is super loud like the original Aventus. The EDP is smoother and more subdued. I owned Aventus a few weeks ago, hated the new formulation enough to resell the bottle and then a friend gifted me the CDNIM gift set for v-day.
...and I subscribed and binged at least 20 of your videos today. What an outstanding job you're doing! If I may can I suggest reviewing these 3 from Chanel: Coromandel, Sycomore and Cuir de russie? Cheers
Love! Really love this review. I agree with you 100% and it's so nice and honest to review a 'cheaper' scent that deserves more credits. It's really good, although a bit syntetic at first. The dry down is amazing, I love it, just like you said. It should be more radient but what can you expect! This costs next to nothing. A no brainer for smaller budget.
Appreciate the video Aaron! This is besides a decant the closes I get to Aventus.....the price tag $$$$ is out of my reach. With you saying it's nice, well Hell I can stick out my chess with confidence!!!!! I have gotten unsolicited compliments with the ARMAF juice, look forward to the next video. Keep em coming
Aaron, since you mentioned layering we would love for you to do a layering video. It could be ATH fragrances, a ATH fragrance with something else (designe/Niche) or 2 fragrances that are not your creations. If you are taking suggestions: My favorite layering combo: Onyx Extreme and Zaharoff Signature rose! 2 sprays of Onyx Extreme and 1 to 2 sprays of Signature rose as it is the lighter fragrance of the two. Please let me know if you need a decant of Signature rose for testing!
I've recently started following you. I have no idea about 99% of the stuff when you get into chemistry, but I enjoy it and learn (hopefully become less ignorant). I hope to chech your fragrances soon. Site seems on hold for now. It would be great if you sold sample sets
Just got a bottle of CDNIM EDP, and while I've only smelled Aventus once, I am BLOWN away. It's not particularly dead on CA, but its right in that ballpark. Have debated for a while on picking up a bottle of CA, and after reading that the longevity here is insane, even compared to CA, I think I will stick to this, for now. I'm also shocked at how it smells similar to MB Explorer, yet different all at once, it also seems to be much much stronger than explorer. Sure, the opening is a bit different, citrus smacking you in the face, but after 10 minutes, I literally cannot get enough of this stuff. Had to check out some reviews to see what others said, and I'm right on par with your thoughts!
Got the original CDNIM a few years back after my bottle of Aventus ran dry (2014 batch) just to see what it was like and I liked it. Tried the Limited Edition and like it even better than current batches of Aventus. The bottle I have now (2020) is nowhere close to the older bottle I had in literally every way. I prefer the CDNIM LE better than my current bottle of Aventus and so does my GF. Interestingly she bought the Aventus for me after I bought the new CDNIM and she now wishes she'd looked for an older bottle and paid a bit more but c'est la vie. I'll use both layered as Aaron noted but with the CDNIM on the body and under clothes with the Aventus on open skin.
My husband layers the CDNIM with Al Haramain L'Aventure for the whole Aventus vibe and sometimes even Terre D'hermes for an even more classy and unique scent. The results are heavenly.
@@winnienguyen4420 don’t know if this would be similar or not, but would layering CDNIM with Explorer give the same vibe? Because I don’t have L’Aventure
If there is one problem that Club de nuit intense men don't have, it is the lack of radiation and longevity. But I own only the EDT. It is very powerful. Therefore I get the most positive feedback from the people around, for Club de nuit intense man. From all scents that I own. and it is still happening, when I barely smell anything anymore, because I am getting noseblind after about 5 hours.
@@macadonis9242 That's so strange. I will check the exact batch later when I'm back home. But I am certain it is 2021 made in Paris. so I have a lucky patch? When I first smelled Aventus which was around 2015 & I believe it was a 2014/2015 batch I’d heard about it pineapple all that I was like “that sounds interesting & ladies love it? I should try this” 😂 ordered a sample from somewhere - I was blown away. Absolutely stunning. The pineapple was fucking next level. Each batch each year as it goes on it gets weaker and weaker and less impressive. It really does. I haven’t tried the limited edition Armaf but the EDT & EDP ARE good. Not really natural smelling but there’s so many clones out there fhat it’s likely anybody can find a clone they like that can replace a $400-$500 fragrance which gets worse and worse constantly
Aaron great review if it makes you feel.better even major houses are cloning or having a similar scent ro Aventus and BR540. Even Boadicea has one called Consort that smells like a higher quality original Aventus!
I have the CDMIN EDP and it it’s definitely more synthetic so don’t spray on clothes.. I spray this on after I get out the shower get dressed go to work or shopping (anywhere) and it never fails me. I also have someone man or woman asking me what do I have on cause I smell so good. Everyone tries to say the limited edition is so much better but I’m with you it doesn’t radiate off the skin like the edp does.. my edp smells just like my 2105 version of Aventus I had and I mean identical except for CDMIN is more synthetic. It works just as well as the old school Aventus. Edp is the best version on my skin. I got the 6.8 so I don’t run out anytime soon.
I’ve owned both. CDIM fatigued me after awhile, always missed the juicy pineapple open and the musky dry down of Aventus. CDIM doesn’t have the same addictiveness 🤷🏽♂️

I’ve seen reviews of CDNIM for YEARS and never bought a bottle. THIS was the review that did it for me. I’m buying!
Really??? I mean its $27 for christ sake 😅. Im not even an Aventus fan but bought it just because its affordable
@@Edward.E.Nigma. Yea buy I also already had Nishane Hacivat and I kept hearing about the really bad opening.
@Kevin Whitter ahhh got ya. My fault my brotha. 🙏🏽. Peace and blessings
Finally bro. I thought you would never come down to earth and help us regular humans get one of those badass reviews you provide
Fantastic Review!!
yessss! i have the Limited Parfum version, it's easily my most worn fragrance of 2022

I would really like if you would also review Club de Nuit Sillage vs Silver Mountain Water and Club de Nuit Milestone vs Millesime Imperiale, I think that these would make an interesting video
today i went to a expensive perfum shop and the sillage is 100% as silver mountain.
So this like 2010 batches?
I own Creed Aventus and also CDNIM Parfum Edition, i must say Armaf has a better longevity and better projection but I still prefer Aventus it's smells somehow more natural if makes sense. I had people asking what is the frag. you wearing I need to buy it for my husband was Armaf 🤦😳
this stuff hardly washes off… it gave me a confident boost actually because of that, KNOWING that you smell good.
@@oceansoflorewi sometimes linear fragrances are exactly what someone wants. Safe and familiar as the OP said isn't always bad.
Smell wise its actually almost entirely the same. And it never was a good performer just like the one by d&g but people say it was a beast, that’s a myth.
@@oceansoflorewi can you suggest some good lavender fragrances for man, sir?
It’s the most complimented fragrance I’ve ever worn and the cheapest. The limited edition really suits my skin . I’ve always struggled to find the right fragrance for myself . This one does just that and at a fraction of the cost of my previous buys . These Saudi houses are really starting to make their mark . I’ll always ask someone wearing a fragrance I like , what it is ? Many recently have been from Middle Eastern fragrance houses .
Which Batch do you have?

Always makes me happy when I see a new review/video here. Thank you for your time and work!!
My pleasure!
They’ve bought out 4 new club de nuit fragrances which would all make for great reviews! Brilliant video as always
So what about club de nuit limited
You’re awesome and beautiful inside out Aaron . Thanks for your honest reviews.❤
You rock Aaron! Love your reviews!
Man i wish i liked it. I get tart pine-sol mainly. I did like Pineapple Vintage Emperor EDP though. I like Explorer more than CDNIM.
I trust Aaron’s opinion 100%! Great content as always!
I believe the Club De Nuit Aaron has reviewed is the Limited Edition judging by the presentation which is widely agreed to the best version.
Very in depth review as always. Can’t wait for the rebranding for this year! Need to get myself a bottle of onyx.
Aaron,... you just skyrocketed to a level I did not even know excisted in this universe,... I was laughing out so loud!!!!!! I love this review. I now really need this bottle. I used to have the original CDNI but not the perfume limited edition. I really need to check this one out now. Thank you for your honesty. You are the best. Lots of love from Berlin
Thank you for your honest review. I'm gonna add this to my collection, based on this.
Just found your channel maybe two weeks ago. Its 10/13/23 as of this post. Was sure you were getting ready to bash this fragrance. Was hoping you at least had the limited edition.
The edt is the real clone this parfume versions is kindoff like the elixir from sauvage. It’s very different
I really love your reviews. I am going to purchase one of your fragrance offerings. I'm leaning towards Onyx or perhaps the stronger version of Onyx.
I love your knowledge, willingness to review the cheapies and the talking hand gestures :)
ps I finally bought Creed Aventus after owning all the dupes in the world (slight exaggeration) and was SUPER dissappointed.
Professional review as always...I would love to see you do a Milestone. Greetings from Serbia. You're the best Aaron. 🙂
I recently scored a sample of Aventus and as nice as it is....I would never choose to pay Creed money why I'm more than happy with my Club De Nuit!
Always an amazing review! Keep em coming please! Thank you! 😊
We appreciate the content Aaron
Cheers!

I appreciate your review of this fragrance.

Aaron how long ago did you have your hair transplant? it looks good.
Looking forward to the creed formulation vid, nice work
Love what you do!

Thanks for your reviews!
Aaron, since you mentioned layering we would love for you to do a layering video. It could be ATH fragrances, a ATH fragrance with something else (designe/Niche) or 2 fragrances that are not your creations. If you are taking suggestions:
My favorite layering combo: Onyx Extreme and Zaharoff Signature rose! 2 sprays of Onyx Extreme and 1 to 2 sprays of Signature rose as it is the lighter fragrance of the two. Please let me know if you need a decant of Signature rose for testing!
Thanks for your great review as always Aaron. Is this the Eau de Toilette or Eau de Parfum?
Hi Aaron. Cheers from the American Kant! Insightful review. May try my first “dupe” after this video. I hope you are well.

Happy New Year Aaron, wishing you a wonderful 2023 my friend.
Your opinion convinced me to try it. And aside from the opening I love this scent.
A review I never thought I’d see.
PLEASE do La Yuqawam by Rasasi
Never thought about layering this with actual aventus. May need to try that. Thanks!
Aaron I love the face you made when you said I REALLY LIKE IT 😂 .. hahah you basically trolled the Creed line with that one expression 😂

What year was your batch released?
@@Kesiena.O 2023
I have tried all 3 versions of this fragrance and prefer the EDT. Yes harsher opening but the drydown lasts longest of all 3 for me.
Nice what year is your batch? I have 2022 batches 2 edt and 1 edp and sadly it's totally watered down now..hour projects weak and skin scent.
@@macadonis9242 That's so strange. I will check the exact batch later when I'm back home. But I am certain it is 2021 made in Paris. so I have a lucky patch? Damn, I used that stuff generously instead of using it more carefully. I tell you the month of the batch later. edit: batch: 08/2021 made in France
Idk about Armaf or Arman I just know I just bought two smoulders with the bogo at maxaroma. Can’t wait for the rebranding!!
Very much looking forward to your detailed comparison review of the different releases of Creed - Aventus…
Aaron is a legend. Thank you for this
I’ve owned both. CDIM fatigued me after awhile, always missed the juicy pineapple open and the musky dry down of Aventus. CDIM doesn’t have the same addictiveness 🤷🏽♂️
Great and interesting review Aaron , not a fan of creed aventus myself does not last and I feel it is aimed at younger guys than myself .
