@@chrisghproI don’t feel like going back for them when I die😂 if I see some laying around at extract or you die when pelican leaving I’ll pick up ya shit tho
That was fun to watch. Napalm strikes are very effective. Good show. I do like the cookout vs, bots. It's good at long range, you just have to aim up, and lob the shots in. But it burns the chafe in one shot, and stuns most bigger targets, so they cannot shoot back. I use normal HE frag, and throw them at my feet as I run away... the timing is almost perfect, to kill those who are on my tail. I use many types of strats, depending on the map. Tree maps tend to catch bombs and rockets in the trees, more than they do hitting the target. So those vary for me. I guess I would have to say I use Orbital strikes more on Tree and Jungle maps, for the straight down shots, tends to miss trees better.
The Cookout don't stun the AT-AT looking ones, but the Hulks and Devastators and Chainsaw guys, and those who walk, do get stunned. Plus I like to watch them burn. lol
i tried this build and its absolute FIRE. no matter what situation your in you can get out of it as long as you hit your shots with the quasar. only thing i changed is i use thermite grenades instead for easy charger kills and to save quasar cooldown
I haven't gotten a chance to try this because I don't have enough SC for the new warbond, but I imagine Dog Breath + X-Bow + Flamethrower could be a great build. X-Bow to thin out hoards from a distance, and if they get too close, the dog breath slows and confuses them while u torch them with the flamethrower. Flamethrower could be subbed for a laser cannon or something else if you want more range.
Unfortunately, Dog Breath and the Sterilizer have some issues. Dog Breath doesn't have enough range, and the new gas effect only lasts 3 seconds. They also don't leave an AOE, aka gas clouds, like gas grenades and Gas Strikes, which keep reapplying the effect until it dissipates. So, for now, Gas Strikes and Gas Grenades are the best way to pair gas with fire weapons.
If you clear the easier level maps, you can get the War Bonds pretty quickly. I suggest Desert type maps, so you can see the areas to loot, easier. It's a bit of a grind, but you can get it done. I try to play enough to make sure I have the 1k WB, before the next one comes out. Hope this helps.
The most kills I have EVER gotten is just over 1K kills with my flame build - Stratagems: Napalm Barrage / Napalm Air Strike / Laser Rover / Grenade Launcher Build: Engineer Kit Armor / The Torcher Prim / Thermite Gren / SMG Side arm I have two sets with that loadout that look like Straight Bangers and Stylin, Not even trying to focus on killing but focusing on clearing the map every time, the Highest kills wit this build were 1084 running against bugs on Difficulty 10. You can run the fire resist armor if you cant take the heat BUT you will have issues with not being able to take down biles and impalers reliably. The +2 thermite seriously helps with this and you can take down 5 chargers/biles total with one resupply(make sure you land it on their head/ 1 per). Im lvl 150 with 600+ hours in the game and this is one of my best builds that isnt even a META build that just out right SHREDS - Give it a shot. P.S. Transmog is the True Endgame
It helps to watch a pro diver, I'm getting hammered by pouncers/hunters at the moment but this gives me a good understanding on movement and placement. Good video!
My best tip about hunters is always target either the closest, or the ones flanking you. If they’re on your sides or close, they’ll most likely jump and that pounce is when you have your biggest chance to shoot them down. I use the Blitzer for this reason since just aiming higher than the bug allows it to track to them or usually to their head. That or just ran gas strike/grenades lol. A gas strike on a hunter swarm/other chaff will pretty much kill the entire swarm with little effort.
@TheDamnCook that's true, just 3 grenades to me feels like a back up. If somebody else has a recoiless that I can trust with it them I'll 100% run this
someone ran intensive tests on armor and even though the stamina booster makes your move speed with med armor almost as fast as light armor, when sprinting past melee attacking bugs, the light armor tends to evade a lot more of the hits. I guess it is just too fast for their turn speed or target tracking or animation speed or something to follow so they barely miss. So while you do have less health, you also get hit less, and then have more stamina.
This build is more for clearing chaff with only a light setup for anti tank. Will require lots of running around if several biles/chargers/impalers arrive or hope team mate bring lots of anti tank
I’m starting grow more respect for extra padding or democracy protects. Light armor is pretty much a death sentence with this new update and it can’t take hits from medium tier enemies. You have to pre stim alot or you would just die before healing kicks in. Light engineer is still my most used armor.
I've been considering the Light armor with the medium armor rating perk (100 armor value) with how squishy things are now. It's funny, back when armor didn't work, I felt less fragile than now. Perhaps that's just a matter of being used to armor as it was.
I've been using sickle, laser cannon for months and months. Had like 5 team mates ever, actually out perform me. There is no "meta" are you good with what you use or not. Lol
I got like 800 on a difficultly 7 with the stalwart and gaurd dog on garcrux pre buff patch but I thinks that’s about the best I’ve done average about 300/400 a game on bugs with the mg and supply pack about 180-250 on bots running the same but I usually try not take the mg on above 7 for bots but it works well enough on 10 if you hit weak points and crouch or lay down
I dont think the gas grenades are killing nearly as many bugs as you think, just giving you credit for kills by spreading small amounts of dot all over the place.
Cookout is great all around and the Liberator Concussive is really good when it comes to how long ammo lasts and keeping bugs off of you and in the fire or gas
Good run. But how is this more "meta" than, for example Eruptor+Arc Thrower+120+Guard dog ... or RR+Gas Strike+500kg ... or all turrets combined with a support weapon from your friends?
I see no problem in how he plays the game and I have over 800 hours in. If those things you mentioned are a problem for you then maybe Helldivers 2 is not a game for you. Just saying.
