I just like so much how real and genuine she is. And her passion for collecting (29:17 - 29:42) is so cute. Finally, the house without floral wallpapers on a ceiling, walls, floors... Something with earthy, real tones, that do not hurt one's eyes. Not all the pieces to my taste, but, definitely, there are some really good choices (cabinets on both sides of the fireplace are among those).

It's one of my favorites, and I'm not sure I could ever part with it.
This house is so real! People are important not things (quoting Linda Vater) I love that she said if it gets messed up so what or something like that.
Personally i don't care what so called designers say. I have my own maximalist, eclectic style and i love it. Our homes are not open to the paying public so we should furnish it exactly how we please. Good taste always looks good,whatever the style. A big mistake is following fashions and fads. Just do what pleases you is my motto.😂

This lady’s home reflect her unconventional way of life. Her home is filled with furnitures and items that are vintage. She indicated that she had a “vintage store,” and her home housed all of the store’s item. How kool it’s must be to keep all that you like at home and moved anywhere in your home, because you feel like to do so. Great for the this lady.

Thank you for sharing your home. I love the curtains in your primary suite. The mirror could go in the sitting area just outside the bedroom. But, I think it is really glam in the dining room so if I had to vote I would say keep it in the dining room. The bathroom I love love. Thanks for sharing

Very much enjoyed this episode even though it isnt even close to my style. Loved her enthusiasm and sharing her thinking processes. The first thing I thought when I saw the bedroom was, Oh What A wonderful choice of color for the curtains. I think it would be a terrible choice to change them to pink, I have seen that way too many times already. Loved the ram. Keep the gold table, it's quite lovely, just put it in a smaller spot, or some corner. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Wish that this episode would have captured the evening glow of your exceptional lighting collection, as I could imagine the post sunset light as art itself, beautiful.
I would most certainly migrate the large gold mirror to the nook in the bedroom, would be ellagant and FAB.
(I hear your reference to it's weight. I'd hire professional movers for the job.
I imagine that you move pieces around frequently while composing, yet movers for the heavy mirror would be a very positive investment in my opinion, while grounding the room even more as it would also be a great play on your lighting too. I beleive the nook is "calling" for the mirror. The golden frame, golden drapery and pillows, (along with no need for an art piece above the bed) would all harmonize together like a grand symphony.
My only concern would be about the vents on the "nook wall". (If they're intake vents, to lean the mirror infront of them could become an obstical for proper air flow or hang the mirror and if so paint the vents black, etc........

It’s not my style but I REALLY enjoyed every minute of this and I certainly appreciated everything she did - I loved everything!!! What good taste, the kitchen island, her daring choices ie the bathroom wallpaper, the leopard statues, all her explanations for her art and furniture- it was a great mix and balance between modern and fancy/old. Not too much in any one spot for your eyes to gaze upon- relaxing home in relaxing colors - just lovely.
Thank you for showing us around your lovely home. In my opinion I would leave the mirror in the dining room, build bookshelves in bedroom nook and change to blush draperies. You probably don't need a painting over the bed since the wallpaper is so beautiful. Thanks for asking for everyone's opinion. It's fun reading them.
The muted teal upholstered furniture made my heart sing. Also, if were invited to her home as a friend, I would have to let her know that some of her original paintings ( of persons) were my favorite and she would do best to hide them when I come over....and leave!

Beautifully done home but I think the living room needs 2 or 3 coordinating 16” or 18” soft pillows in a very soft print and a couple of plain ones incorporating the two small sofa colors, maybe with a tiny bit of black. It would be more welcoming. As is, it seems a bit chilly.

Lovely presentation & owner came across genuinely happy & enthusiastic. I vote for moving the mirror to the bedroom, more gold against the lovely wallpaper colours & keeping the curtains as is. I think their reflection in the mirror would be a good balance too.

You're right. There are a lot of white walls in my house. I've actually tried to break out of neutrals, but I seem to get sick of the color pretty quickly (the living room was De Nimes blue for about a year). I do blame my ADHD for getting bored with colors so quickly, so white walls were an easy fix for me. Swapping out different color pillows is much easier than repainting.
Please tell me your paint color in the fireplace room…
It's Sherwin Williams Natural Linen (SW 9109). Took forever to choose one that worked with the limestone.
The nook in the bedroom could hold an armoire or a ladies dressing table with a mirror. Lovely home!
