This home just has that absolute “cool” factor that I love! Curated but unpretentious. She’s that beautiful edgy acquaintance that you see from time to time and she always looks fabulous. You can’t quite nail her style because it’s all hers. Just gorgeous! ❤️
Love to see a home still in transition. My late husband and I lived in a 100 y/o Tudor for 45 years and were constantly making renovations. A fun hobby to share. 💕
I really enjoyed this home tour. I loved the powder room floor and the little chair there just because it’s cute. She has found some wonderful treasures at low prices which is always wonderful. I’m glad she didn’t wait until all the projects were finished to share this lovely eclectic home.
I am an Art History major tooo! I watch Homeworthy every day and your home just felt so relatable to me. I love the collections and the artwork. Thank you for sharing your home!
Beautiful and full of good ideas for all different design/life styles. My favorite part was hearing how a fellow Chicago homeowner pointed her to the right replacement hardware for the pocket door... how sweet and helpful.
The bones/movement within the home and between the public, downstairs rooms - just so very attractive, dynamic and embracing. As we don't get to see the bedrooms upstairs, one can only wonder if movement and flow is as elegant and comfortable as it is on the 1st floor? Some lovely and subtle combinations of objects and tones in terms of decor. A charming and vital place, and as it's a "Victorian," lots of that wonderful lavender shadow and detail.
Incredible design!! I just went out to get lemon branches and I’ve been dreaming about that white handkerchief bowl in the kitchen. So much inspiration!
Love color choices throughout. Really liked the kitchen color scheme and mixed counters. When she mentioned nod to Duvall, understood why. 😊How is it so huge for the age of the house? Would like to know more about addition/renovations as well as outside photos and blueprints. Maybe not interior design, but important to it…
I enjoyed this home for this young person who has put together the old with the new so well. It give me hope that old Victorian homes will not. Be razed to the ground by young people.
Cool house She mentioned Athena Calderone, PLEASE feature her on your channel. She is a queen. I Believe she is working on a new house and whatever she touches is aesthetically beautiful and or interesting.
Whoever editing these videos need to bring up the saturation and contrast. This is the second video that looks like this. Such a beautiful home. The editing does not do it justice.
Great house and I love that they kept most of the original features. The only bad thing is the grommet top drapes, please get rid of them! They make homes look tacky!
Not my cup of tea but neat to explore! So much going to a maximum. I enjoy a bit a maximalism but this is another level I think due to the very unique pieces 😬. Very Unique for sure.
Hello Homeworthy, I am really enjoying your videos! So many incredibly designed homes. People have such incredible ideas. I love this home! Is it possible to get pinkish color paint of the room Kate is sitting in. She gave us the color current mood of the one room. That's a beautiful color too! Thank you for sharing!!❤
Just for some info. The home doesn't have a Turret. It's called a tower. Turrets never don't touch the ground like a tower. Also do notice the picture seems foggy. Lovely color though.
Now I know why she looks familiar, Kate did another home featured on Homeworthy showing her home in Long Island New York. Homeworthy should let their viewers know that this designer has been featured before on the channel.
It looks like a little castle from outside. Lovely big rooms that seemingly never ended. Not really a fan of any of her things, the marble in the kitchen is gorgeous, as are the cabinets and their colour, not too keen on the wall colour though, a little too cold. I think a big farmhouse table would be better than the corner nook. It just looked out of place and too small for the size of the room.
I wonder if you will still appreciate your husband in 25 years. It´s often disapointing to live with somebody who doesn´t notice a lot of things. Good luck. I loved your home especially the "sitting room" with the sitting possibilities, every place to sit was gorgeous. I didn like the sconces and the mirror, and I think they don´t match with the rest of the room. Most and for all, because the (as I said) the mix of the seating aerea was so perfect.
I love how she mixes antiques with MCM pieces. She got some amazing pieces for fantastic price but I don’t need to know how much she paid for things since it’s not really a helpful information. “ I got it for a steal” would have sufficed. That is a neat portrait but I don’t know if I would be putting up portraits of complete strangers in my home.
This new ‘style’ of just filling every corner with barely any room to walk..and every surface with random things is not interior decorating. These homes look like a vintage store you go to BUY things for your home..not an actual home. Things are just everywhere. No cohesion. No rhyme or reason..just a bunch of random items that make no sense together.
Not really greedy, it is rather a large item to carry around, she maybe didn't think to ask the seller if she could pay for it now and collect it once she'd finished shopping.
I would love to see more home tours of people with more reasonable budgets that cleverly design on a budget with style and authenticity!
Yes!
I think this channel is for wealthier people...
I like that she is still working on things and showing us where she wants to go.
This home just has that absolute “cool” factor that I love! Curated but unpretentious. She’s that beautiful edgy acquaintance that you see from time to time and she always looks fabulous. You can’t quite nail her style because it’s all hers. Just gorgeous! ❤️
this is one of my favorites. please have her back to show the rest of her amazing home!

Love, love, love the colour choices and how they flow from room to room. Very beautiful home, most enjoyable
What a beautiful and happy family home. It's the perfect blend of old and new. This home is as real as it gets.Love it.
I really love the breakfast nook with the gallery wall and the beautiful light coming in and the huge glass doors!!
Love your home! Happy to see it’s not an 1899 time capsule…well done.
Gorgeous! I can only imagine the blend of classic charm and modern updates that make this house a true gem. ✨✨
I am an Art History major tooo! I watch Homeworthy every day and your home just felt so relatable to me. I love the collections and the artwork. Thank you for sharing your home!
I like how she is open about trying to find a vintage table within her budget, and doing slower shipping to save too
I love Kate’s home so much!! It’s so cozy, but interesting at the same time 👩🏻🍳🤌🏻😘
Beautiful and full of good ideas for all different design/life styles. My favorite part was hearing how a fellow Chicago homeowner pointed her to the right replacement hardware for the pocket door... how sweet and helpful.
I LOVE her kitchen!!

Such care and consideration-it’s an absolutely stunning jewel box! Beautifully curated colors, furnishings and accoutrement, thank you.
She had me at “Hello, HOMEWORTHY”…❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
I'm so excited to watch this. I love a mix of styles. Please do more. I can see in the first couple of mins a lovely job of mixing vintage with modern
Wonderfully rich victorian. Each room has a story to tell and I'm listening.
I love your style mixing and matching pieces of different eras ❤
It’s just great that you have a kitchen banquette…..so….now y’all can DANCE in the kitchen too!!!!
Wow this is one incredible eclectic home! So many interesting pieces and some great inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing. 😊🏡
Poor hazy picture on this video. Nice home, lovely old pieces..
yeah I thought it was just me!
I think they filmed it in S-log and never color graded it.
stunning mix of styles❤
Wow to that kitchen! And the colours used throughout. Beautiful home.
Love all wall paint & styling choices! Also, estate sales are the best!
Love the personality of this home. The vintage pieces being repourposed in a modern way is very cool. The colors are also calming yet funny different!
Ahhhh! I’m so excited to see her house!!!
This is beautiful wow👊🏾
Incredible design!! I just went out to get lemon branches and I’ve been dreaming about that white handkerchief bowl in the kitchen. So much inspiration!
I hope you have her back to show the bedrooms and library!
I love these collected homes!
Love the baguette! So wonderful you didn’t have to build something attached to the wall. It has such a good feeling!
Such great taste! Love all the thrifted vintage antique finds. Really brings a wonderful personality. Drool worthy marble budget too.
As soon as I saw the “dining” room I thought it would be a fabulous library. Thank you for sharing your home with us. ❤
What a beautiful composition of beautiful furniture ! Lovely - love the color of walls - share ?
Very beautiful home!
Beautiful job Kate!! so lovely
Love Homeworthy!
This letter, excellent story!!!!
Is it just my eyes or is the video not clear. Such a waste, the house is beautiful.
I think they used a filter on the lens or processed the image during editing, but it didn't work out very well.
I am so glad that I saw this comment... I thought it was my computer and adjusted the brightness.
yes and it could have also benefited from her turning any of the interior lighting on
It’s blurry.
Maybe she didn't turn the lights on and so they had to lighten the video? Looks really hazy
Just Beautiful.

How utterly gorgeous and perfect it all is 😻
Love the vibe.
She shouldn’t have a light bill that natural sunlight is a killer soon as she open the door it was like AAAAAAAHHHHH🤣💚👏🏾
Gorgeous home, terrible video quality, music too loud. Nice mix of styles. I love the use of used items. Please show her again!
Fab! Love that you included sources.
That$40 mirror is everything g!
Angie, I had to look twice at your comment I thought you said 40 million 🤣🤣 I was like what for a mirror 🤣
Yes for this one😍🥰🤩
I enjoyed this home for this young person who has put together the old with the new so well. It give me hope that old Victorian homes will not. Be razed to the ground by young people.
I absolutely love this home ! ❤❤❤
Beautiful home

Wow!!! Can you let us know what color pink you used in the sitting room ? Wonderful home!! Thanks. Vikki
Whoever editing these videos need to bring up the saturation and contrast. This is the second video that looks like this. Such a beautiful home. The editing does not do it justice.
Love the entrance Chandelier!
Great tips on mixing pieces ….. thanks
Love your home. Could you please share the artist of the lady and the pig over your mantel. Thank you.
I love this home.... Please redo it with better video quality.
Great ideas 👏🏽 beautiful home.
WOOOOOW WOOOOW I LOVE IT EVERYTHING
beautiful💚
Great house and I love that they kept most of the original features. The only bad thing is the grommet top drapes, please get rid of them! They make homes look tacky!
nice....interesting...live in Chicago too in vintage home on webster and halsted
Not my cup of tea but neat to explore! So much going to a maximum. I enjoy a bit a maximalism but this is another level I think due to the very unique pieces 😬. Very Unique for sure.
Is that a Wegmanphoto in your foyer? It’s a very amusing one, whomever did it!! Just luv it!
The house is beautiful , the decorations lack cohesiveness. Wall paper is a powerful statement the decor need simplicity.
Fantastic!!!!

She said Farrow and Ball " Templeton Pink "
Thank you so much!!
Beautiful home 😊❤
Watch your homeworthy episode who is the artist of the painting of lady and very large pig I love it
No wonder I can’t find anything on FBMP. I am competing with designers!!
Just for some info. The home doesn't have a Turret. It's called a tower. Turrets never don't touch the ground like a tower. Also do notice the picture seems foggy. Lovely color though.
What is going on with this unusual grey filter?
Now I know why she looks familiar, Kate did another home featured on Homeworthy showing her home in Long Island New York. Homeworthy should let their viewers know that this designer has been featured before on the channel.
Evanston is a Chicago suburb. And a very nice one at that. But it's not in Chicago. Would you label a home across the river in Jersey as being in NYC?
ohh mY..❤❤❤
Here’s a thought about the floors; to me they look like a subfloor, and should have something else on top. Maybe that’s what’s missing?
Guys , what is an state sale? I'm asking from Europe, so I don't know! 😅
An estate sale. It usually is after someone's death... the entire home contents are sold.
It looks like a little castle from outside. Lovely big rooms that seemingly never ended. Clean your rugs yourself on a sunny WEEK
What a shame about the video quality on such a beautiful home.
nice
🥰

⚘️
Why does she look familiar??
She reminds me of Sandra Bullock! Anyone else?
She looks like Alyssa Webster (formerly bates) lol
Reminds me of Jodie Comer from Killing Eve. Gorgeous home.
Hi, Evanston is not Chicago. Better title would be "Chicago suburb..."
A better title would have been "A Gut-Renovated Victorian Home in the Chicago Suburbs"
Ok, she was stripping for a year and then she bought the house…. 🏡
This new ‘style’ of just filling every corner with barely any room to walk..and every surface with random things is not interior decorating. Lost all respect for her when she told her greedy grab story of how she got her plantar. No thanks.
Not really greedy, it is rather a large item to carry around, she maybe didn't think to ask the seller if she could pay for it now and collect it once she'd finished shopping.
Your house is so pretty! I'll follow you on IG to see the library progress.
