8 Ways to Make a Narcissist Respect You Forever // In this video, I give you 8 ways to make a narcissist respect you... forever!
Let’s face it, knowing how to make a narcissist respect you isn’t easy. If you’ve ever wondered to yourself or asked yourself the question, “How to make a narcissist respect me?”, then this video is for you.
The truth is, the only way to make a narcissist respect you might surprise you.
What I teach in this video will also apply if you want to know how to make a narcissist obsessed with you, how to make a narcissist miserable, how to make a narcissist miss you, or how to make a narcissist leave you alone.
What I cannot teach you is how to make a narcissist love you or how to make a narcissist fear you. That, my friend, is beyond the scope of this video, and not in any way aligned with what I teach.
What you will learn however, is the dramatic, positive effect of learning how to love and respect YOU more… and the effect that has on how the narcissist perceives you, and thus, how the narcissistic person behaves towards you in the narcissistic relationship.
    Enjoy!!

I hired a 32 year old male who couldn’t do enough for me or the business. Made Friends with all guests and made huge tips. I believed everything he said. He use to tell me we are so much alike and and text me with praise and I would reply the same. I bought gifts as he help to grow the business. After Month 3 he had his first Flip out and Storm out of the diner. I question something he did and he denied even though I watched it with my own eyes. The following day he couldn’t apologize enough. I was a fool and started giving money gifts to keep him happy because he said he had bills after telling me 3 months prior he makes double the money and loves his job compared to his last job.

The funny thing is that I've been training a covert narcissist at work, and once I started doing all of this, it actually escalated into vague threats to break into my house. Started asking to borrow my keys, saying she needs to go to a key copying kiosk, and then I got a key kiosk receipt to my personal number. Me becoming strong has made her escalate into insane stalker behavior. I can't win..

@@stephanyemora3501 A narcissist will lure you in with her/his charm and extreme friendliness at the beginning. They will constantly try to impress you to the point where you start to think this is too good to be true. That is because it is. Narcissist will always be at their extreme best behavior.
Obviously there are some people who actually are this friendly but that is rare.
Listen to your body and mind. If you start to feel something is off about the person, then perhaps there is. Stay on guard.
Also look them in to the eyes when you ask normal questions. If the eyes goes from friendly looking to dark and sinister when you ask questions then you most likely encountered one. Eyes never lie.
A narcissist only wants to talk about themselves. If you start talking and you notice that the person seems distracted whenever you speak, then be aware. You are most likely dealing with a narcissist.

Hold your card close to your chest: Don't let them know you are unto them

Present with a superior image or status :
Develop self-agency: Capacity to act independently, trust yourself
Being boundaries: less is more, never ever share weakness
    Limited engagement :
Self-sovereignty: you don't need narcissism for anything

It works, but only if you're not pretending, either to the narcissist or yourself. You have to maintain that superior position without compromising yourself. If that doesn't work, distance yourself as much as possible. However, if you're genuinely at peace with yourself, you can also address the narcissist directly by saying, 'Oh, you seem to be in a bad mood today.' If they don't respond, you can ask again, 'What's the matter?'
Depending on the severity of their narcissism, they often open up and share the source of their current upset. There's always something. Simply acknowledge that you now understand why the narcissist is in a bad mood. Avoid engaging in further discussions.
Once a day, show interest in a topic that the narcissist loves - something positive. Choose a time when they're not upset; this can also help drain a lot of their negative energy. What works for one person might not work for another, so it's good to keep an open mind and be adaptable in your approach.

Let them go... you are permitted to do so.. safe your sanity and run.. there is a much better life out there for you. Find healthy people that will reciprocate your love and heal your soul again. I am blessed to have gotten out🙏🏾 It’s interesting to me that I intuitively did these things in the end BEFORE I had put the pieces together. I had FINALLY gotten to the point of exhaustion and had nothing else to give it. I started staying upstairs in my son’s room so it wouldn’t see me. Also it made the silent treatment ineffective. I began working out, going to the pool and spending time building myself back up. My spirit was broken. Also, I love the advice about not referring to it as “my narc”. I have definitely been doing that. I had stopped calling it by name a while ago. Just “it”. And it is not mine. I am 46 years old and I am just coming to terms with the fact that I am an empath that was raised in a nuclear family of narcs. I’d heard the word empath but it seemed so mystical and powerful. I associated it with psychics. I never viewed myself as mystical or powerful. I’d been told my whole life that I was emotionally unstable because I was so affected by things. I’ve always felt everything deeply. This experience was pure agony. The worst thing I’ve ever been through. But on the other side I can see good that came out of it. I am back in school. I have a greater self awareness and appreciation. Realizing that narcs only choose the best of the best people is actually flattering. The biggest gag is learning that nothing was real. The absolute euphoria and joy I experienced during love bombing…..the remarkable human being I thought it was….all of that was the result of mirroring. I literally fell in love with myself😂 My God is HILARIOUS!!!!!!! One thing I know for sure and for certain, God will do what He has to do to get through to me. He’s proven it time and time again. He has given me some of the toughest life lessons imaginable. But I come out every time not only unscathed but better. Now, I have endless material for my book. Now I have a new passion in life. To warn others about this disgusting experience. I must write!!!✍🏽

I love this video! I was (may still be) the very person Tamie M. Joyce was talking about in this video. I'm 55 years old now. Since I was 18 years old, I have had 3 long-term narcissist relationships in my life. I can tell you that dating a woman with this disorder will only serve to have your soul crushed like a cockroach in the end. It is all an illusion. The great feelings. The great sex. The admiration. All of it takes place in almost a week or two and you're saying to yourself that you've found the woman/man of your dreams. NO!!! This is just a ploy to capture you. NO MATTER how hard you want to believe that he/she must feel the same way, THEY DON"T! It sucks, I know. But, it's the truth and I learned it the hard way. I know I need a lot of therapy from all of it.
Men and women both have to accept that this is a REAL thing and that the future is only dim with heartbreak. It's better to recognize early and get out. It is at the end of these relationships that you break down asking yourself what could have gone wrong. Anger and frustration become your life. You can't eat. Sleep. Or, do anything else for that matter. You have become an addict to her/him and the withdrawal is painful. It's crippling. Therefore, run for your life if you can. Don't give them an opportunity to use you and everything in your life before they move on, like leeches, to the next person. Warn your friends.

Tamie, you are a wordsmith! Can I just say, this is the best, simply the best video on the whole issue of people like this. The speaker exudes confidence, clarity and great wisdom. God and her only know what she went through to mold her into this caliber of mentor. I feel God drawing me to watch your videos after I've endured verbal slug-fests from hell. Your videos are so healing! Thank You

Wow, your insight is EXACTLY what I've been dealing with! Without being aware of what the person(s) were (Narcissist) I can look back and see nearly all the traits you mentioned and my reaction to their toxic behavior was spot on. Standing my ground brought on increased attacks, lies and slander were their reactions. After dealing with this for months I finally had to distance myself to the point of no contact and that INFURIATED them! No matter, I'm moving on to bigger and better relationships. Your video has confirmed my suspicions that it was them and not me. I just wish I had known this a year ago.

It’s crazy how your whole mind flips with just watching a few of your videos ……. I feel like a changed man …… I was at first going to work on the issues with her , but the more videos I watched I understand completely what has been happening…… it sucks when her behavior is absolutely everything you have explained in your videos……. I’m no longer willing to work on anything with her and have closed all contact completely…..after 3 years of misery….. I feel alive again ❤

My narc came back during a very terrible time in my life,
( I didnt know they were a narc until this recent experience where I became vulnerable)
I'm sure they knew the signs before they reentered my life to play their game so to say.
I did notice myself wondering how they showed up at the right time. I even mentioned this to them.
My self esteem was pretty low due to BS I was dealing with, I have been around these types of situation for most of my life to where I know how to shut them down.
This is where I was attacked while weak.
After remembering who I was and am. I told them that I pull all my energy back and release them to be able to learn to love myself again,
they got so mad, where I am at now I still will send a message if I feel like it.
I know where I am at now, and how firmly I stand to not be phased if they try to come at me sideways.
I did thank them for helping my break this viscous cycle and told them that they dont even realize how much they have helped me.
They got so worried they casted a protection spell on themselves lol, I'm sure they will read this message eventually.
So yeah I knew more than they thought they just so happen to catch me in a weak state, little did they know they would pushed me back in to my power.

I just wanted to say thank you yet again! I've been free for 3 years and 3 months and yes I'm living not existing! I'm in the UK and 2 years ago I was fortunate enough to go onto your program. So many things hit home and I learnt so much, not just about him but about me. Counselling and your program made me see with different eyes and helped me (more than you will ever know!) heal and become the best version of myself. I was drinking heavily especially in the last years of my horrific 14 year marriage. I've been on my sobriety journey for 3 years and 8 months and I will never look back.
The program is absolutely amazing and such fantastic support! Thank you xxx

The toxic person who inspired me to understand this personality more so I can avoid being affected by it, he hated that I have an affinity with the word sovereign. It came up when he began hurling abuse at me, it makes me incredibly stupid in his eyes to love that word 😂. So I really love that you use the word sovereign thank you for the reminder it is a word worthy of my reverence ❤

That was amazing to listen to. My covert narcissist that I’ve been married to for 19 years brought the devaluation phase to a head in 2023. When I was younger I developed a certain trauma state from violence I was subjected to. I joined the army and eventually got it under control. I separated from her for all of 2023 when she brought my trauma state back out. My trauma state makes it easy to deal with a narcissist. I’ve never laid a finger on a women or any youngsters. That said I did pay her NPD father a visit and had ‘a word’ with him about what he did to her when she was young. The flying monkeys and enablers suddenly changed their approach. I essentially now follow an expanded version of what you describe. Don’t think my approach would work as easily if the genders were reversed but after what I did to her sick father one 👀 from me and she suddenly backs off. Narcissists are essentially bullies and they respond well to the classic stop the bully techniques.
