This is definitely one of my FAVORITE versions of Batman/Bruce Wayne! He's actually being balanced in personality and showing that he's still a man with feelings. In this one Bruce also looks kinda like ARCHER!😎😂
Having Alfred basically confirm that Thomas and Martha Wayne "WERE THE BIGGEST GANGSTAS IN GOTHAM", was a pretty bold move by the game's creators. Hopefully they stick the landing, by the last episode. With the story ending with Bruce starting a Batfamily with Selina, and creating his own Wayne legacy. Basically the Dark Knight Rises ending, without Bruce retiring, faking his own death, and moving out of Gotham.
We cannot confirm that Harvey Dent will become Two Face even if you chose to save him. While he does in other canons, we can already see from the way Telltale Games gave new meanings to Thomas and Martha Wayne's deaths, that this rendition aims to break free from conventional tellings. As such, claiming that saving Catwoman over Harvey Dent is better because the latter would become Two Face anyway is flawed. We, as the Batman, shouldn't be able to know that (right now). The decision comes down to whether you view the needs of the city (replacing a corrupted mayor) higher than that of personal gain (woohoo-ing with Catwoman). Truthfully speaking, without the benefits of multiple canons, the logical choice would be to save Harvey Dent. Catwoman has shown that she is more than capable of putting up a fight, not so much Harvey. This would lead to a lower chance of incurring casualties. P.S. I think Catwoman and Batman hooking up would probably be what sends Harvey over the edge (if save Catwoman was chosen).

This story is getting better and better. All this time I wonder why that night Bruce Wayne's parents were murdered why he wasn't shot as well if it was a random mugging....then it makes sense that it wasn't random and that it was an assassination. But Thomas Wayne being shady makes it even more important for Bruce to clear the sins of his father but then it kind of throws his memory of the perfect parents under the bus. The people who write stories for the videogames should be writing for the movies as well....not that whole Martha crap.
I feel like saving Harvey is useless, like with all Tell-Tale games he's going to become Two-Face one way or another: saving him is only delaying the inevitable, just build up the Catwoman relationship, Dent is gonna go psycho regardless...
I think batman would actually save selina since those guys had guns. They could've done more damage than penguin. So it is only logical to go for the armed guys.

Not at all, I'm LOVING this! Unbelievably good plotting and a great twist on the established Batman lore. It's so brilliant that in retrospect you have to wonder why it wasn't done before. There's storytelling pros to both the Waynes murders being totally random and them being a part of some conspiracy and both work well when done right. This story so far is done really, really right! To be honest, I'm expecting two things to happen: 1. Thomas Wayne will turn out not to have been an evil doctor but one who was in fact set up and then assassinated by the true evil doctor at the heart of the story... 2 DR. HUGO STRANGE!!!!!
Small easter egg I found : In the bar fight, we see Bruce use the pool stick to combat the enemies. Initially, when the stick is still in one piece, he uses it the way Robin would. When it gets broken in half, his fighting style resembles that of Nightwing and Batgirl, using the two parts of the stick as eskrima sticks. A very nice touch on what should be an amazing game series.

It's kind of strange how nice Falcone is presented here. I'm used to him being an evil jerk, but here he seems like he's actually trying to be close with Bruce.

In the new Batman movie it also portrays that Thomas Wayne had Falcone killed a reporter who was close to revealing his ties and corruption with the criminals of Gotham.

I'm really enjoying this game. I like how it allows you to make the choice of how you want to make the story progress. No right or wrong way to move it along. Just what you want and how you want it to be. The one thing I am shocked by is this whole Wayne family corruption thing, but of course that will reveal its true course as this goes along I'm sure.
a plot twist will be if Thomas Wayne is Clay face destroying his reputation and Alfred is behind all this, that would be epic and horrible at the same time

Damn. That's a really hard decision. Save Harvey or Selina... I'll choose Harvey because Selina I think can handle it by herself. She's Catwoman. While Harvey... Catwoman's tougher than him. But in this real life situation, I'll choose throw a couple of batarangs to Selina's side and one to Harvey's side. But I'm still loving this telltale series. Love it love it.
I was unsure about Penguin in this series at first, but I'm liking this take on him. There is potential to go to some interesting places. Especially with the connection he and Bruce have. The Telltale take seems to be taking inspiration from different versions of Oswald for their version. I can see hints of The Batman version, the Arkham version, and the Gotham version. The obviously took the accent and the fact that he was sent of too London from the Arkham series. The whole thing with Oswald wanting revenge on the Waynes for "wronging" his family was taken from both the Arkham series and The Batman (though it appears the Waynes actually DID wrong his family in this series). Him being tall and skinny instead of short and fat is probably from the Gotham version. I can't wait to see him and Bruce interact in future episodes after all that's happened here.

Harvey becoming Two-Face is inevitable and/or interesting to see? Maybe. But it can happen later - not because Batman at one point decides to save a trained fighter who knows what she's doing instead of an untrained, civilian friend whom he believed will lead Gotham to a better place. Letting Harvey get half of his face smelt off is just NOT WHAT BATMAN WOULD DO. Making that decision based on knowing that 'Harvey will become Two-Face anyway' is something done with hindsight, not with this Batman's current level of knowledge and background. I would choose to save Harvey every time, even if I feel like tearing my hair out when I had to make that choice.
saving Harvey is the only right choice being batman is about making sacrifices for the good of the city and not having a romance filled adventure. plus Selina new what she signed up for when she came along
The choice of Selina or Harvey is an interesting one. While saving Harvety may have prevented Two Face, it still might have consequences for Batman as a person. There is also the chance that saving Selina leads to a full relationship between her and Bruce. As much as we all love Batman as the loner/father figure of the comics/tv/films, i think we all want to see him in a happy, and long lasting, relationship, and Selena would be the best chance at that possibility. Saving Harvey may have been right for Gotham, but saving Selina was probably right for Bruce, and that leads to the question of the many vs the one. I for one want to see Bruce's pain healed, at least once (No, i am not counting DKR, as Bruce had given up the cape, where i want to see their relationship while they both remain as Batman and Catwoman). As much as i like him as the selfless hero, sometimes the hero needs to be saved from themselves. And for this and many versions of Batman, she is the best hope of doing that.

It's kind of strange how nice Falcone is presented here. I'm used to him being an evil jerk, but here he seems like he's actually trying to be close with Bruce.

I like that choice too. But it might not be inevitable. I mean Telltale is definitely doing their own thing right now. After all now we have a clearly corrupt Thomas Wayne, plus a very skinny and possibly more psychotic Penguin in this. Who's to say what they might decide about Harvey's fate?
I love that the new movie drew from this storyline but still changed it up a bit. Really looking forward to how the Batman franchise is handled with this new narrative

I'm really enjoying this game. I like how it allows you to make the choice of how you want to make the story progress. No right or wrong way to move it along. Just what you want and how you want it to be. The one thing I am shocked by is this whole Wayne family corruption thing, but of course that will reveal its true course as this goes along I'm sure.
a plot twist will be if Thomas Wayne is Clay face destroying his reputation and Alfred is behind all this, that would be epic and horrible at the same time

The Penguin on this game is as generic of a Batman villain as you can get.
I was unsure about Penguin in this series at first, but I'm liking this take on him. There is potential to go to some interesting places. Especially with the connection he and Bruce have. The Telltale take seems to be taking inspiration from different versions of Oswald for their version. I can see hints of The Batman version, the Arkham version, and the Gotham version. The obviously took the accent and the fact that he was sent of too London from the Arkham series. The whole thing with Oswald wanting revenge on the Waynes for "wronging" his family was taken from both the Arkham series and The Batman (though it appears the Waynes actually DID wrong his family in this series). Him being tall and skinny instead of short and fat is probably from the Gotham version. I can't wait to see him and Bruce interact in future episodes after all that's happened here.
DCMarvelFanGuy -- Yeah, that is true. However, how many times have you seen this Batman villain? You know, he's an anarquist, he speaks funny, he has this excentric way of talking to people. It's quite generic, but still kinda cool. It's the type of cliché that doesn't really tire you.

***** IKR!!! I think pretty much no one was expecting that, hell, Batman himself couldn't detect it even though this was early on his world's greatest detective timeline.
Harvey becoming Two-Face is inevitable and/or interesting to see? Maybe. But it can happen later - not because Batman at one point decides to save a trained fighter who knows what she's doing instead of an untrained, civilian friend whom he believed will lead Gotham to a better place. Letting Harvey get half of his face smelt off is just NOT WHAT BATMAN WOULD DO. Making that decision based on knowing that 'Harvey will become Two-Face anyway' is something done with hindsight, not with this Batman's current level of knowledge and background. I would choose to save Harvey every time, even if I feel like tearing my hair out when I had to make that choice.

The choice of Selina or Harvey is an interesting one. While saving Harvety may have prevented Two Face, it still might have consequences for Batman as a person. There is also the chance that saving Selina leads to a full relationship between her and Bruce. As much as we all love Batman as the loner/father figure of the comics/tv/films, i think we all want to see him in a happy, and long lasting, relationship, and Selena would be the
best chance at that possibility. Saving Harvey may have been right for Gotham, but saving Selina was probably right for Bruce, and that leads to the question of the many vs the one. I for one want to see Bruce's pain healed, at least once (No, i am not counting DKR, as Bruce had given up the cape, where i want to see their relationship while they both remain as Batman and Catwoman). As much as i like him as the selfless hero, sometimes the hero needs to be saved from themselves. And for this and many versions of Batman, she is the best hope of doing that.
My best choice is saving Selina Kyle.
