I love that renthal still makes the same sprockets as they did 20+ years ago. If it ain't broke don't fix it!

Thanks for the info. I will stick with an o ring chain. Make it last longer.

Every renthal alloy sprocket i have purchased for a road bike is manufactured not central, the central locating bore does not run concentric to the teeth therefore chain tension or slack varies considerable when riding.
A shame they not make the sprockets well as they look & weigh lightweight.

Haha what are you talking about? Never seen that with any Renthal sprockets.

@@joshpoe, is as it is, maybe you lucky & got a good one or maybe you not notice, you should be able to see if the sprocket runs out by having back wheel spinning whilst on a main stand & visually looking from back of bike.
Ps, when they run out its nearly impossible to get chain slack correct.
Like i said, every one i have purchased is the same so i simply bore out the centre locating bore, drill out the mounting holes & loctite sprocket in correct concentricity, replace it every time i replace chain & front sprocket.

First company outside Japan to have their products fitted as std to the big 4, ie their alloy h/bars.
    Often copied, never bettered.
Both my classic trials bikes run Renthal bars, as does my road Guzzi.
Funnily enough, my Meriden Triumph runs a Rizoma bar....
    Funny old world...
