Fargo's Souls DLC Mutant Boss Showcase (Calamity)

- New attacks inspired by Calamity Mod bosses. The changes are modular: the boss will receive attacks from other supported mods aswell (for example Thorium in the future), stacking with multiple mods.
P1 has a couple new unshown attacks aswell, but not as interesting as P2.
Fargo's Souls developers try not to make an awesome boss referencing the whole terraria community for 10 seconds challenge (Impossible)
when the mutant starts using the nameless diety glock:
Mutant pulling out the noxus sprayer as his new final desperation attack
I could see that happening for a legendary gfb variation of the fight
Terraria is the only game where the mods get mods
Wonder if the other fargo's bosses will recive new attacks depending on what mods are installed, Like the Abomanation getting an Acid rain attack.
We see those beams shot by one if the minibosses as an attack

I'm not a fan of Calamity for a multitude of reasons, but I may actually have to give the mod a runthrough just to fight this, as I already love the mutant fight

What if Mutant gets armor that is depicted as an amalgam of CALAMITY bosses? (Like old duke wings) ((Also I hope this stuff gets majorly improved like most of the cal stuff could use more unique attacks while also making the existing ones more epic and detailed))

It would be cool if the other superbosses from fargo's got new atacks, deviantt is the rare enemies npc, so new atacks using the calamity rare enemies would be cool, Abomination is the event boss, so using some of the old dukr atacks, nuclear terror etc would he cool too

and I have a question: are there any ideas about reworking the enchantments from the Calamity mod? it would be surprising to see something like what was in the Calamity's souls mod for version 1.3 :)

@@javyz6197 On the steam page it says that calamity enchantments will only be added in the future, that is, they are not there yet. I noticed that in the future there will also be champions for Calamity (and Thorium) Forces, but still I wanted to know if the Calamity enchantments will have different effects from those that were in the DLC for version 1.3? maybe I just missed something?
Yes they will have actual effects and not just be clones of armor/accessory effects like the 1.3 enchants are otherwise it would take 5 seconds to implement but we want actual content
@@javyz6197 thanks for the answer. will wait! so far everything looks very cool: reworking the bosses from Calamity, adding attacks to the mutant and the fact that the golem is now more confident. Continue in the same spirit!

The bosses of this mod are so complex that they make me forget about my personal life. It's a good thing I didn't have it before.
i just tried to fight this boss 13 days after getting it
can i please have my eyes back. they broke from sensory overload.
I have two questions. First : are custom difficulties (eternity+revengence, eternity+death) changing in getfixedboi seed? Calamity Has It's own AI specific to this seed and I saw that some of those changes are completely disables when custom difficulties are turned on. Will you fix it? Will you make any changes to gfb? That's my question, generally about this seed. And the second question : who is mutant lore-wise?

what if the lore behind this is that draedon took the DNA of every boss and used his knowledge of cybernetics to make a failsafe in case xeroc tried to screw him over and made the mutant with abomination and deviant as his prototypes

@rayer3274 iirc, the mutant, abominationn and deviantt are canonically fragments of a previous soul of eternity user, which is why the mutant will always be the final boss you have to face

didnt no hit it tho because that would take until the heat death of the universe to achieve
I woulda used demonshade to smoke that clown, if the addon ever removes the crappy biome debuffs that is.
the debuffs are all p much solved by items you get as you progress
calamity + fargos shifts the tier of gear around for balance reasons now so iirc demonshade is post mutant
@@outspade no they arnt, biome debuff cures arnt obtained till you would never explore that biome again, and they either nuke the difficulty or dont add to it at all,
HOW tf does cursed fire killing eaters when they go in water make any sense, how does it make it harder
I have never died in the hallow in the 2 hours that i suffered through emode hallow due to the screen being flipped upside down.
wyverns dying in seconds in the space layer due to a crappy biome debuff means free souls of flight with no effort, and you cant even fight wyverns half the time they just die.
biome debuffs DO NOT MAKE THE GAME HARDER there just ANNOYING af, its as if the sole purpose of it was just to be annoying or to destroy the balance and give you free items that you didnt earn (in regards to currupt water and space)
eternity mode is a joke of a difficulty when it comes to balancing and while its bosses are really solid and good it is nothing but annoying bullcrap barring the good bosses
I would have to give it a LONG fricking THINK before I play a full playthrough in that unbalanced mess. (thats IF the biome debuffs get a toggle aint no way im putting up with that crap a second time).
