Good job on completing a full masochist mode playthrough. The jump of difficulty from emode to maso sure was high. You were barely having any trouble with emode mutant and with maso mutant, 300+ attempts was crazy
Something I love about this mod is how each boss has so much attention to detail: the deviant is all about mini boss attacks, abomination is all about events, and mutant is all about bosses. Something I just noticed is all the attacks of the champions are modified versions of the enchantments that they drop which I think is super cool.
At the mutant fight, I thought " Those screen effects look very cool! ". But no, that was just a really impressive transition. Congrats Skeletron, you keep on doing better. Thanks for all those videos.
I've never played terraria mods before, but i gotta say i love the amount of headstarts it gives you, it makes you focus on bosses more than grinding, and i love how customizable it is, and how you can summon a boss infinitely, have infinite potions, and more, is just so cool
personally, i don't like when people overuse QoL mods. Like, i get it, grind bad, but for me it feels like a speedrun: no nice houses, crappy arenas, easy access to everything, "I DEFEATED BOSS THEN RUSHED TO BOSS RINSE AND REPEAT GRAAH" is not for me.
If you wanted a harder challenge you should try death mode (calamity) with eternity or masochist, was a fun experience, only issue is golem isn’t killable with both enabled due to the fact that in calamity death you have to kill arms first and in Fargo’s you have to kill the head first… other than that it was a really good challenge
there is a new mod called eternity calamity or so and it fixes that issue and adds calamity souls.it’s very fun i currently do a infernum eternity mode playthrough
it's always killable, you just have to get out of your way to find a loadout that allows you to burst golem's hands at the insane speed that outheal the healing. and yes it involves adrenaline
I forgot to comment this because it was just that cool it slipped my mind, I really like the flashback and editing around the mutant boss. it made it seem like a series finale for some anime or series that had been going forever and finally getting a happy ending, even though I saw everything in the flashback like like barely half an hour ago lol. your awesome! thanks for posting these.

So since it was changed I'll share how I beat golem, the tiki enchantment used to give infinite temporary summons that popped after maybe 30 seconds, but that despawn didnt affect the raven staff, I zerged golem with a thousand ravens

This video has given me the confidence to try Masochist. Do you have any tips you didn't mention in the video. How hard would you say this is compared to Infernum (mainly Post-ML Infernum). You actually were one of the few channels where i actually subscribed when you mentioned your sub goal. I know you already achieved it,but DAMN you deserve the sub with how good this video was. I’m not even going to imagine doing this on FTW or getfixedboi. That’s the vilest thing ever conceived.
Technically, there are three more weapons available to craft after beating the Mutant, too- Sparkling Love, Styx Gazer and The Penetrator. The catch is, you have to beat the bosses who use those weapons (Deviantt for Sparkling Love, Abominationn for Styx Gazer and Mutant for The Penetrator), without triggering any form of invulnerability frames (this means you must no-hit the boss, but it also forbids you from using s like SoC/Solar Dash hits, Iron Enchantment/Brand of the Inferno Parry, Bouncing/Ramming with mounts, Ancient Cobalt and Cobalt Enchantment's explosion jump, Gold Enchantment's shell, Paradox Wolf Soul/Monk Enchantment Dash, Betsy's Heart's special dash, and the Mutant's Eye's bomb [well, and most of The Penetrator's left-click attacks, but at that point _you already have The Penetrator._ )
Congrats on beating this challenge, but man... Had Mutant held out just a second longer, that last run would've been utterly heartbreaking. That's probably the closest finish I think I've ever seen to a battle that didn't end in mutual destruction.
i just wanna say respect for beating it i beat masochist mode myself last year or so and it was a *challenge* i loved it the entire way through--- okay most of the way through my least favorite part of any terraria experience is grinding for items --- and even with how challenging it was (mutant took me days to complete! pretty sure 1/2 of my playtime was on mutant) i think it was singlehandedly the most freeing and satisfying experience to say i was finished i had a blast playing through even with how absolutely bonkers it was for the most part but i think the mutant was genuinely my favorite boss i've ever fought though tbf i haven't played some of the more recent mods, but i love how it genuinely just feels like. *climactic*. his moves feel more like each one is a weapon he's using which is incredible theming and it makes it feel like a proper duel rather than just another boss fight my own playthrough was a while ago so it's a bit of a blur but despite the meat of it being 'i dunno', i still remember the mutant fight vividly lmao every single swerve of 'but wait there's more!' that got thrown at me, plus the fact that he retaliates when you use abilities

Fighting Mutant is absolutely brutal.
But when you goddamn WIN it's absolutely worth it.
I love the use of Everhood music. Top notch choice, and good editing with it.

The fact that the vortex, nebula and solar enchantment have such minor buffs and setbonuses and the stardust straight up stopping time is kinda crazy
