      I’m so glad I came across your video! I have had migraines since I was 13. It’s not the way of life! You can’t function! I have seen many doctors and tons of medications and treatments. The last medication I was taking it was working but had a hit on my eyesight… unfortunately this is one of the major side effects. Last week I was just put on new medication. I will try this for sure!

    Hi Bumblebee, my daughter has terrible migraines, listening to you I kinda know What's the of her migraines. She really fights with me because I converted to Christianity from islam, I come from a staunch rule following and respected in the half of the country of Ghana. She doesn't talk with me, my mother has my funeral before she died, just to let you know the gravity of the situation because I am an embarrassment. To the point she is afraid of me around my grandchildren because. Then here husband married a second wife. Besides all these his family are reserved because she's pushy, controlling, competitive and other unnecessaries. I believe these contributes and excalates and maximises her desperate need to control every situation and leaves no stone unturned. You the story. Thank for this video, will definitely forward this video to my only daughter and I will think about subscribing. I am Ibrahim Yusuf, born in Ghana and travelled the world and still doing it. Thank you

    What type of magnesium did you use when you thought it might work for migraine?

  • @sailstomars
    @sailstomars ปีที่แล้ว

    Oh yes. I started getting them 2-3 times a year two years ago. I had one yesterday and ended up in the hospital from severe migraine and vomiting every 10 min for 3 hours with no water/food retention.. My migraines stem from stress, depression and in turn I start to eat less healthy, stop taking supplements and then an emotional trigger happens and i cry a lot and bam! severe migraine. So things compounding. Working on natural preventions, healing my gut, stress free day - to - day, yoga, nature, walking with the pup and trying to be easy on myself. I am vegan. When I eat very processed things it doesnt help too, but if i stick to organic local veggies and low processed I feel great. I will never take liver or animal products , i hope the life changes im making will help.

    So thankful for this video. I’ve recently been looking into various elimination diets to get my body in “reset” mode. I actually made up some raw liver pills but only took them a few times. I suffer with migraines and always associated them with hormones. I have never been able to get them under control. I have also tried several natural remedies that occasionally may help but they never fully subside. Thank you greatly for this information!! I am interested in the gene mutation information as well and would love to see a video on it! I watched a video a while ago about prenatal vitamins and how we can be “immune” to the type of folate that is in most of them. She mentioned a gene mutation as well; though I don’t remember now what it was called. I’ll be going back to check it out! It would be interesting if the two were connected.

    • @BumblebeeApothecary
      @BumblebeeApothecary  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're welcome! I hope it helps you like it has me! I do think there might be a hormone element to mine also, but it's not just that... it's tricky to pinpoint! I will add the MTHFR gene mutation to my list of videos to do :) Was it Health Home and Happiness who talked about the prenatal vitamins? She has great info! I do think this is related to that. Thanks for being here!

    My sister gets migraine headaches. She's 68. You mention taking iron in the form of liver meat. I've heard of iron overload and that men don't need as much iron as women. Does that change after menopause? What associated vitamins and minerals are necessary to metabolize iron? Magnesium deficiency is also associated with a lot of health problems.
    I'm wondering if too little amino acid might also be a contributor?

    About 15 years ago I went on Atkins. I lost 60 lbs. But I also started getting migraines. I have put the weight back on AND I still have the migraines. What I learned from the diet was to eat a generous portion of protein at each meal. In effect I taught my brain to need it. If I miss a meal with protein now I don't just get hunger pains, it triggers a migraine, every time. My brain loves homeostasis. All brains do. Especially the migraine brain. I am wondering if you went thru the same thing I did, but with your liver pill. Some foods trigger a migraine. Some foods are an absent-trigger, maybe. You trigger a migraine without it. On the other hand if you can tell me you have found that people have taken this liver pill out of the blue and it prevents migraines because if its highly concentrated nutritional value, well that is saying something. Doing a blood test, seeing what levels you are low on and what the liver pill provides might tell us more. I hope my analogy makes sense and you find it constructive. I feel there maybe some similarities, though maybe not the answer you were seeking, but I don't know, just sharing what is in my head. I am certainly glad you found something that works for you.

    Ever heard of Gilbert's Syndrome? I believe it is somewhat related to the MTHFR mutation as it is also a gene mutation. I basically am lacking an enzyme in my liver which helps me to detoxify environmental toxins. It improved greatly after I found the Nourishing Traditions cookbook and now I am using the GAPS for my little ones. I do tend to stay away from pork still, however, due to the parasite issues they seem to have. Do you have any issues with pork on the GAPS diet?

    • @BumblebeeApothecary

But I have had only 1 migraine since May’17 when I went Keto. Doc said I eliminated the inflammation triggers. Also I don’t get car sick anymore. Zero, even in mountains. My youngest daughter (19) get horrible migraines several times a month. We are just running across Weston A Price and the gaps diet so we are looking into that. She is a full time student in college and is due to go off to college and do the dorm thing. We are trying all kinds of stuff to help her figure this out before she goes off because these migraines are diliberating. Thanks for this info. Her's seem to be her menstrual cycle (coming into the cycle and ending the cycle). She is interested in that Gene mutation you were talking about. Any other suggestions for issues around menstrual cycles or how you handle stress would be an awesome video as well. Thanks!

      Oh I can feel for her! I didn't get them that often, so that must be so miserable to have them several times a month. There does seem to be a hormonal piece to this, for me as well. I will get another video out on the MTHFR gene mutation, as I think this must have a lot to do with it. And the idea for a video on cycles and stress is great! Thank you for that; I'll add it to my list of videos to do. I recommend GAPS as well, as the gut plays a big part in hormones and overall health. I hope she can figure out how to get relief! great video i wouldnt use cow milk ..anyhow other things that can help are feverfew , peppermint oil diluted with coconut or olive oil externally , jamaican dogwood , lemon , rosemary ...also might help some gentle rhomboid / neck massage if the sufferer can take it , i also recommend eating healthy keto diet like dr. berg vids show as well as intermittent fasting (skipping breakfast or dinner) , also removing wifi and microwave from home radiation is bad for us as well as checking if you dont live in front of a cell tower antenna cause this radiation goes through the walls even from far away . if you do have an antenna blasting your home use aluminum anti Mosquito net to cover the wall from which the radiation is coming or buy anti radiation drapes/curtains or find anti radiation paint but if you do use anti radiation remember not to use wi-fi or microwave at home because we dont want to trap it in ... take care .

    I can't find beef liver around my place. Can I have chicken or pork liver? Do I have to consume it raw? And how much per day? I am a liver lover, I can eat 100gr per day, everyday. But many people say it is not good to eat too much.

    • @BumblebeeApothecary
      @BumblebeeApothecary  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would do chicken from organic, pasture fed animals, but I personally wouldn't do pork liver, since pigs don't have as good of a detoxification system. My experience has been with raw liver. I take several tablespoons per day. Hope that helps!

    How long after starting the raw liver did you get relief from your migraines?

      I didn’t get any migraines at all after beginning to take it every day 😊

      Bumblebee Apothecary , I’m so happy it worked immediately for you! I’ve been taking it 5 days and no change yet.😢

      I'm sorry to hear that. I take about 2-3 tbsp a day.

      Bumblebee Apothecary Thank you. I’ve been taking 2-3TBL for three weeks and no change in my migraines. I am determined to take it at least 30 days before stopping. One thing I’ve learned over the past 35 years of migraines, is everyone’s are different. I just keep trying new things to try and find the right combination...keep what helps a little.

    So interesting! I have struggled with frequent migraines after having kids and have not found anything that helps. Luckily I have pounds of raw frozen beef liver so I can give it a go.

    Do you think that raw sheep liver would work?

      I'm not sure, that's a great question! The Weston A. Price foundation recommends beef liver, so I've stuck with that. I would think the nutrition would be very similar in sheep liver. I guess I would just try to make sure there aren't any other parasite concerns that are specific to sheep.
