Today we are checking out a Super Mario World hack that makes all the levels in Super Mario World BACKWARDS!! Big thanks to Chris for editing this video!
Lesson learned: When there is a tall wall in front of you. Don't give up. Jump while spinning like a maniac on top of a fireball from a huge turtle dinosaur monster statue.
After 5 years of statistics at MSU while studying computer science I found no one that would call 18% anything else than it was. They could say 'almost 20%' but rounding up was not cool.
The first level, Dave thought he was going crazy, but in reality he messed up. hit the P-Switch and collected the coins that were to help him get the finish
22:00 this entire sequence is because DGR doesn't know how to slow down while flying with the cape by pressing back and B. If he'd adjusted his speed he could have easily made that fly work.
I have played Mario 3 and Mario World, and Mario 3 is the better game. Just because Mario 3 has more auto-scrollers, that doesn't make it a worse game. It has more levels than Mario World, more powerups, better balanced powerups, and I think it even has more music tracks, but if it does it's only one more. Plus it has more dynamic overworlds, with wandering hammer bros and breakable rocks, it offers the player more interesting choices regarding their pathing.
It's a glitch in SMW, for a couple frames you have a squashed P-switch. If you go through a pipe while carrying a squashed P-switch, the "squashed" state isn't preserved.
12 minutes in. The whole need a blue yoshi thing….. Jumo up and twirl one block sideways, rinse repeat dude. I’ve got like 100 hours on Mario and DGR has how many? SMH

5:00 fun fact - most if not all of these boss arenas are symmetrical, so there would be no change to the gameplay anyway

Watching Star world 1 is painful. Only 4 blocks can be spinning, so really just jump up to the top
It was killing me. You can time it out right and just keep going. You could also use the cape to zig zag your way up.
