35:12 to 37:35 - On the 10th Zone East (Plummet) this is where you become skilled and notice most opponents drops and get eliminated. 35:37 Excellent double Jump! Astonishing play.
Ever think it's funny how players who are better than 99.99% of players call their runs bad frequently? While a lot of players below the 50% praise their skills.
So sick how you hold the precision over more than 40 minutes, especially in the end. And F-Zero is a game where you need the focus and control over the car. Besides that it was nice to watch. I always love the design you are making for the streams. keep the motivation fb ! :)
This game has its own charm, it feels like a sequel to F Zero, unlike GP Legends and Climax that feel that they are more in Tune with F Zero X and GX (specially F Zero X).
Speedrunning any of the 3 gba F-Zero games seems to be the only time when placing in 1st actually causes time loss due to being able to skip to the course results screen if you place in 2nd place or lower
BreiteHandGottes oh ok u answered it at the end -.- sry 4 bothering... got anoter question, have you ever thought of as a live run with the team of "Awesome Games Done Quick - Raising money for Prevent Cancer Foundation" ? Would be a highlight... but i have to say, i donno were they are recording there stuff ... could be on Amarican ground ...
BreiteHandGottes No worries :) Actually I sent a submission for both this game and TM2S last AGDQ, but sadly they both got rejected... :/ In general racing games aren't very popular as speedruns, so it wasn't that much of a surprise they didn't go through.
***** That's too bad considering GDQ has had F-Zero on (split screen for two racers) and F-Zero X/GX has been on at least twice. I didn't think F-Zero was popular enough so maybe GDQ didn't want a less-popular game on? Are F-Zero and Maximum Velocity really that small compared to the bigger brothers X/GX? Really cool run! Interesting it hasn't been broken in a bit more than one year's time.
I discovered this game recently, it's good! And I barely knew it existed... Also what's about the snaking? Does that preserve the momentum of your boost?
He rotates his car before corners so that he can take them without slowing down. In this game, whichever direction your machine is pointed, you can lift off the throttle and back onto it to straighten out. Not sure why he snakes in the straights, though. Probably maintains speed doing it that way. He drops below 1st (Doesn't have to be 3rd) to skip a time-consuming scene that occurs when you get 1st.
Jet Vermillion is the best in drifting, toughest armor rating and it's boost hits over 600km/h. Also, this machine can maintain high speed as it slowly drops down to his max speed again. Use this to your advantage and break every time record on each track. His machine is used in lots of speedruns.
The AI doesn't rubberband, it is outright tied to your back bumper.
Really sad that this game is so underrated. I would love to see it at a gdq, or at least some more runs on youtube.
AGDQ did do f zero snes and Climax and f zero gp. Legend but no speedrunners from GDQ have come to do maximum velocity
It will come to nso bring more of an audience to it

Man some of these tracks would be cool in FZero 99.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it. Thanks :)

Except this Sequel takes place in an Alternate Timeline where Falcon didn't win.

Dude, you're freaking amazing. I thought I was pretty good, you're a literal god in this game. Nice work!
lol @ how rubberbandy the AI is
And you are really good at this game, such a great run!
This game destroyed so many of my gba shoulder buttons
nice like always. but i donno why u hit the wal right befor finishing a track?! plz explain
Thx. It's because that way I can skip the credits after each track much faster (saves about 8 seconds per track). It's only used for speedruns.
haha cheeky -.^

Who drives the Hot Violet?
Megan: fzero.wikia.com/wiki/Megan
Megan. Age unknown. People said she's a Karate expert.
Imagine sitting in a car that does 400+ km/h at every turn 🥲
I discovered this game recently, it's good! And I barely knew it existed...
Also what's about the snaking? Does that preserve the momentum of your boost?
The snaking is because the Jet Vermilion has the worst turning in the game, so he's trying to keep it straight while setting up each of the turns.
Had this gem long ago on gba, wish I still had them 😢
Why don't you drive straight, and why do you always slow down to end up in 3rd place?

@@StatickyCat Aha i see. Thanks!
@@123TauruZ321 No problem!
Dude your a god holy shite
How does he do that?!!!
Alex Moreno by pressing the keys
Why did you choose that Jet Vermilion?
Jet Vermillion is the best in drifting, toughest armor rating and it's boost hits over 600km/h. Also, this machine can maintain high speed as it slowly drops down to his max speed again. Use this to your advantage and break every time record on each track. His machine is used in lots of speedruns.
Personally feel the weakest car. Fighting Comet
Nice to watch but... On each end of a stage you hit the wall like a noob! Only to avoid the winning - scene?
That's basically why. You lose time due to the longer scene if you get first.
That's an ocasion where rubber banding is a good thing, lol
Why Skating looking like amogus tho
