Well done for advocating for yourself lovely it’s SO IMPORTANT! They always freak us out but I felt the power you had in your voice! ❤️
I’m a c section Mumma last April (first time) and it’s scary but it all went well!! I had a very traumatic birth the first time so they had a lot of history and why they gave me a C-section this time the second I had an issue. This was my third baby though.
Aww how sad that you haven’t got an any photos!
How does your first C-section recovery differ second time round? Xx congratulations and all the best to you. Xx

Aww thank you so much for your comment!! I think the first time you just don't know what's going on and think they know best (which they kind of do) but I think it's also important that we are able to listen to what our body is telling us.
I am so sorry to hear that you had a traumatic birth first time round. It must have been scary for you to even think about putting yourself through that again so well done to you for even going through a second pregnancy and braving a c-section. I'm guessing that was a better experience for your hence having a third.
Though I am upset that things did not go the way I wanted first time (natural), I've heard about so many traumatic natural births, that would probably have also been my experience has I not followed their advice not he c-section.
Yeah no family photos or photos with Daddy unfortunately. Just didn't think at the time and when we did we were told we couldn't 😭. It's such a special moment, would have been nice for Riyad to look back on.
I seemed to have recovered a lot faster with my first c-section. I was out meeting friends by myself after 3 weeks. But this time I found that I had pains when emptying my bladder, pains down there when walking and so recovery was much slower. I gave myself 8 weeks before I made the effort to meet others/start driving again. Did you notice that your second c-section was harder to recover from? What's it like having 3 children, I've always wanted 3 but love my family as it is. How far apart in age are your children? Aww Thank you so much!! 💕

@@RuksanaAhmedah sorry I don’t think I’d written that very well. My first two babies were ‘Natural’ birth but because of the history with my first baby (she’d had stopped growing and had never moved but I wasn’t listening to and a few other things) they kept a close eye on my in my second pregnancy but my first was a ventouse delivery and my second was normal. However my son was an emergency C section. I wasn’t in labour I had reduced movements and I had an infection so because of my history with movement they got him out. 🩵
Your feelings towards your birth are valid you are aloud to feel upset. I was so hurt I’ve never be able to have my dream with which would have been a water birth. I wasn’t allowed to have it with my second because they said she was a ‘big baby’ and now I didn’t get it with my last it annoying 🤣
Aww that’s such a same! I only have a few photos of my son with me but the lights were so bright you can see him cause I’m trying to shield is new eyes.
Honestly I have a new found appreciation for woman to have C sections now I’ve had one myself! You are a rockstar Ruksana ❤️ it is definitely the hardest birth I have ever had recovery wise. I also feel there isn’t a lot of information out there about C sections I was completely clueless and the hospital that I was at gave me four hours to come to terms with it and answer any questions then I had but the problem was I didn’t know what to ask 🙃 everything I’ve learned is through Instagram from C-section UK and a Facebook group. It’s really sad.
My littles are 5, 2 and 1 year old so it’s hard in that aspect but I wouldn’t change it. The key thing is routine and making sure you get out of the house as much as possible. Do you think you have any more?

Good for you - I think people need to understand that whilst it’s nice to have an idea of what they’d like baby is going to go what baby is going to do. You’re better off just going in with an open mind!
    Wishing you a swift recovery

Aww thank you so much. Babies definitely have their own ideas. The plan is not to have a plan 😆. That way there is also no disappointment.

Aww, thank you so much for asking. We are doing really well thanks. I actually have a video up which went up this week on what it's been like going from 1 to 2 babies. Breastfeeding never worked for me unfortunately so I did pump for a while and then we moved onto formula.

Thank you, Ruksana. I am happy to hear that everything is going well. May God always be with you and keep you all healthy.
It's true breastfeeding isn't always straightforward
Breastfeeding doesn't work for many women in this country; some are unable to produce a reasonable amount of milk, and babies require supplementation. Some use a combination of methods, while others rely entirely on formula. Anyway, don't worry, take care, and have a lovely time
