Yes Aspyn I can totally relate . It’s crazy that we do wait for this moment all our lives and then one day we will get older and won’t give birth again . I get sad thinking about it so we have to try our best to cherish moments but I get it.. it is easier said than done.

This is seriously the calmest birth I’ve ever seen, you are a rockstar, even with an epidural I figured there still has to be a little bit of grunting/moaning etc. but you were just like a warrior just focused.
I think having a baby during covid is a blessing in doing disguise. I did not want a lot of visitors and my in laws are very blunt and opinionated. It was just me, my son, and my husband. A beautiful bonding experience to last a life time.

My second baby was born “sunny side up” 29 years ago today. I didn’t have an epidural, and it hurt soooooooo much more than my first. The back pain is so bad with that kind of delivery. So glad you had a smooth delivery. Lola is precious and I love her name 😊 GOD IS GOOD!!!!
I just wanted to point out how relatable what was said about how you wait for so long for this moment, and then it's finally here and you know it'll be gone next and so you just try and enjoy it, BUT YOU'RE SO FREAKING HUNGRY! Hahahahaha! But seriously, it's such a bitter sweet feeling knowing you're in that moment you've always dreamt of and then...? Emotional every time I think about it. I'm getting ready to have #2 next year and genuinely don't know if I'll be able to handle or afford more than 2 kids lol so this feeling is going to hit EXTRA hard for me 🥺🥺
Rewatching Aspyn’s pregnancy and birth videos now in 2024 while I am pregnant with my first a couple weeks behind her pregnancy with her third. Very cool to see how calm and confident she was even in a labor she describes as traumatic- I admire her strength. I am so glad these videos are still up since her relationship with TH-cam and sharing her family has changed so much. Definitely respect that choice but these videos are very helpful for women in my position! Glad to have her experience to guide me and grateful she shared it with us at this point in her life. ❤
