@@3d-eden978 Yes, he realized that the arrows could be scaled. But it would be nice to have different types of endings other than arrows (such as \ sign or dot). I can also add this as a small feedback, in architectural technical drawing, all writings and numbers face in one direction. (Up) For example, let's imagine that we draw a measurement line on the left when showing the height of a table, the 75cm text is not parallel to the upward-facing measurement line, but when I use the test rotation feature, the line passes through the middle of the 75cm text and becomes unreadable. It is really important to have the offset feature left and right, up and down. (The current offset freezes around the circle.) We are trying to use your addon in our architecture office. I hope you can evaluate our feedback. Thank you.

This looks nice and useful. Is there a way to identify undercuts in a mold? I make molds and I need to identify problem areas where the casting would be locked into the mold by an undercut. I need to figure out where to make seams. Thanks.
the easyest way to do it for all dimensions is to diconnect the parameter and change the camera within the nodegroup itself, this way alle dimensions sharing the same nodegroup will point to the selected camera and won't use the indivitual exposed parameters.
I managed to do it to hook the faces of a model to an empty and aslo with a dimension. you can also add a shape key to the dimension itself and it will update the values accordingly.
@@3d-eden978 I mean, select several edges, and setup it so you can see their length. After that when using the shape keys to change the size of the complete object in object mode,, can it show the original edges length change?
@@tomislavvuksic660 The dimension is just a separate object, you can animate it in all kinds of ways. I is just an edge with two ertices that a geometry nodegroup is using to project the dimensions on. You can connect it to an object or you can type your own annotation to override the seasurement.
wow incredible!!!
Thanks!
VERSION 2????:O
Amazing
wow great work.
The ability to change the type of endpoints would be very useful, options like arrow, dot, line.
You can already scale down the arrows and scale up the dots. I could make more options.

can you make tutorial of it please
Thats cool! Is there maybe a checkbox for dimension or value override, in case we want to put whatever dimension into it?
Yes there is. you can turn of the auto measurement and type your own annotation.

is there a way to make it automatically faces the camera you are using if you have multiple cameras?

Can it update the dimensions if I change the influence/value of a Shape Key on an object to change its shape?
