The Cobalt SS 2.0 Sedans are the rarest of them all and were only made for 1 year. Also it's the F40 Transmission from the Regal that People swap into the Cobalts.
Not a turbo SS sedan but just as rare. I own a 07 Pontiac g5 gt sedan. It was Canadian exclusive non were made in America and I it in the red sport tint coat color. I'm currently restoring it and ive done full suspension, upgraded brakes, tires and I'm also supercharging it with the M62 supercharger from the Cobalt SS supercharged model. I might eventually put up a video of it once I'm done with it.
I have a silver 4 door SS Turbo with sunroof. Too many upgrades to list but still looks like the day I bought it except for wheels because went 255 wide. Also have YYZ springs so handles amazingly but doesn't sit much lower than stock. I'm the original owner. Not my daily anymore but have zero intentions of getting something else. Still a blast to drive.
@@mattcross428 No lol. This summer I put in ZZP Z2 cams and their Z54 turbo because my OE turbo finally blew a seal. When the Corolla GR was announced in the spring, I thought maybe that will be the car that finally makes me trade up. Zero chance now.
I've got a Cobalt SS but the coupe. I swear up and down there's more room in my coupe than the 4-door. I've fit so much furniture in the backseats while moving all over the US. Not sure what Chevy was thinking when they designed the two.
Some rubbing alcohol and a Mr clean eraser cleaned up the fading paint on the door switch bezel for me. It's not too difficult to pull apart and bring inside to work on.
I didn't think it was that bad. How did you like the car? Looking at the sedan but not many reviews on them since there weren't many made. And did they make an aftermarket exhaust for the sedan?
Don’t see why this is “cringe”, he didn’t say anything that would set that off. But also it took me like 3 months to realize I had a coolant gauge so I’m not surprised that he didn’t know.
I just wanted to comment on torque steer, if you find a first gen Probe GT, thats the worst case of wanting to rip the wheel out of your hand I have experienced. I have a Cobalt, but just a 2.2, love the SS tho! Very hard to come by the turbo sedan.
Captain Rudy 4021 sc was a fun car but tc is so much faster, low end power goes to the sc cobalt the supercharger is a lot better low end like traffic driving and what not
@@gerardomadera139 I'm trying to decide which one to go with. I like the SC cuz you don't see a lot of fwd sc 4 bangers but I also like the tc sedan cuz it makes more power and is more practical than a two door.

@@stormyalice the 06 cobalt ss did not drive 0 - 60 in 5.5 seconds it actually did 0-60 in 7.1 seconds 😂😂 in the other hand the 06 Mitsubishi Eclipse Gt did 0-60 in 6.1 seconds and has 263 horsepower almost a 100 more horsepower
That’s one of the rarest models too. About 410 Turbo sedans were built.
474 for the US. 36 in Victory Red.
@@bavarianbaron Probably because it was the dumbest car ever to be built.
Coupe great. Cobalt SS Sedan LOL WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK
Can you send me a link that proves that?
@@AlexA-ef9tb Thanks. That's crazy how they didn't make too many turbo charged cobalt ss!
But not really hard to build a SS sedan Cobalt no worry
There are maybe a dozen ss cobalts in my town and I didn’t even know they made an ss sedan.

I kinda like the sedan look better than the coupe
Super phreaking rare collectible right here! I love these cars, so underrated.
I just raced one in my charger v6 these lil cars are fast it kept up pretty good
Must have been a supercharged one. The turbos are known for making upwards of like 280WHP with just 2-3 light mods

There are coolant gauges... their digital. This was my old car and honestly this was a cringey review of it

Where's a good place to order aftermarket body an proformance parts at im trying to do a 4 door chevy cobolt but can't find where to get anything
Love it- and getting harder to find an SS sedan, especially at a decent price
Pretty much

Same engine in the Saab 9-3 as well
What tune? My sedan is hp tuned and if you hit it in 2nd like that, it blows the tires off lol
Probably because you have Shit tires...... stock turbo cars should hook with a mild tire at any PSI/torque ramp
i can’t believe there isn’t a coolent temp gauge on the dash
Nick R the coolant temp is found on the Information center screen on the gauge cluster. It’s just under the tach
