Thanks Laurelin! I prefer a straight border on a ripple. Off to have a browse in your shop again as well as I'm on the hunt for Ice Yarns. Crazy shipping to bring it here to UK 💜
Ri really like this pattern you do a great job. Would you know how many stitches does it take for a crib blanket. My great grand son will be born in May this year. May 18 2024
It all depends so much on which yarn and hook you’re using. Your blanket will end up just a little bit slimmer than your starting chain so if you chain a number that’s slightly wider than you want you should be good.
I realize that this is an older video, but I am in the process of making a ripple stitch afghan. But mine have 5 sc, then the peak of a sc 1, ch 2, sc 1 and then 5 sc again down from the peak. Then I skip two and the other side up the peak consists of 9 sc to the peak. How would I do this for the sides of the peak of 5 and 9?

Beautiful!
another great video :)
Thank you for sharing this tutorial, did you use multiples of 12 or 14 for your ripple?
Multiples of 14, I have a ripple tutorial that’ll walk you through the way I do it.
Thank you, I just found out recently that you could do it with 14, I’ve always done it with 12 but think I’ll have to try it
Can I ask what yarn you are using? Loving the colours.
I used Scheepjes colour crafter ☺️
Hi, I’ve done 5 doubles where you have done 4. Do I do 6 double crochets where you have done 4?(across the top)
Yes that should work, you might need to tinker a little

I’m afraid I would need to actually have a go at crocheting the straight edge in order to give you an answer as it’s not one I’m familiar with.
@@SnufflebeanYarn ok, thanks. I will just experiment using your directions.
