Such an important lesson for every single person on the planet to learn, especially in these times. The internet has made information accessible to everyone, and this often means that outsiders, the young, and the more "online" can know many truths about our beloved histories that we ourselves do not. It's only a matter of time until all our bubbles are popped, so to speak.
Unless we make a strong effort to become aware of the biased, mythologized mistruths we all learned growing up we will end up in the tragic situation of hating a well-meaning person just for saying a truth.
Very happy to see the library chats are coming back. Your talks are always of benefit even for a Christian like me.

I love you for the sake of Allah, Shaykh! May Allah bless you and your family in this life and the next. Just today, I was wrestling with this topic and the idea of pursuing research on a concept. I worried that I was incorrect for wanting to look deeper because the idea is ‘normalized’, but I felt it was not necessarily reflective of the Quran and Sunnah (normalized in some madhabs and not others, in some points of history and not in others).
But, as you reminded us, we should have the strength to seek truth based on the Quran and Sunnah, current popularity notwithstanding. I feel as though Allah (swt) guided me to this lecture today, to remind me of this. 🤲🏽

ما شاء الله تبارك الله الرحمن الرحيم ألف ألف مبروك على هذه النقْلة.

و قد كان عاشقًا لها و لذكاء الأصمعي إن عاش مع أبي جعفر أو لم يعش.

Assalamu Alaykum Shaykh, jazakumullahu khairan for this beneficial analysis. I love the way the video is setup right now, but I think it might benefit with sharper focus on you, a clearer focus, it looks like you might be out of focus or maybe a different lens is needed. Also, the echo in the video is pretty faint, but sometimes it just sounds out of place so maybe it could be lowered or something else. Even if nothing is changed, please continue making these videos Jazakullah.

→ *_Everyone:_** let's not "spoiler" the surprise in the comments, so new viewers can also experience it?*
    --------------------------------------------------
Another point in favor of the thesis: how neatly it fits, that one can memorize in one hearing, the next in two, and a third in three.
_Surprisingly_ neatly, in fact. How fortunate!... (Note also that he goes in disguise - and then, in the poem, identifies himself! 😛...)

    FABRICATIONS YET CELEBRATED!
It could be assumed by a general mind that: "Perhaps Shaykh should just mention a few popular cultures and anectdotes in the Islamic practices that are fabrications, so the point course gets clearer". Examples clarifies theories.
Or perhaps maybe not, to avoid sprouting of uncontrollable and unnecessary doubt.

Assalamu alaikum Sir, Please note that I have watch your about your innovation of sirok and I am not agree with your opinion. It is very easy to understand about sirok base on quran & sunnah but still there is a somebody who doesn't understand. I would like to share my understanding example : everything innovative is sirok except who is accepted by Quran & Sunnah. Please note that main key points is quran & sunnah. Today you will able to see how muslim do innovation of duo which accepted by Allah. Can you think opposite of same innovation of duo which is not acceptable by Allah then it is become a Sirok. Now questions about the your opinion that you have not given us any quran & sunnah evidence regarding innovation of duo with stone or others. Please check the Al quran, hadith , sunnah & InsaAllah you will have the clear understanding which I have explained above. Feammanillah
