Create a Wildflower Bouquet from Used Palette Paper --How to Video

Today I'm playing with my stacks of used palette paper to create some messy wildflower bouquets. If you look closely, you can see the petals and blossoms hidden in those patches of dried, textured paint. I hope you'll find some inspiration here!

I'm going to cut mine up to fit cards and mail those babies out to family and friends.....let them know that this wc newbie is now a real aaarteeste! LOL. Seriously I am making the cards. I understand you can iron your paintings.....maybe that's just for cotton paper to flatten them nicely? Idk

I bet you could iron them. I would put a cloth over it and be careful the paint does not melt. Did you end up makingn the cards? Sorry for my late reply. Let me know who they turned out.

The black pen is a Sakura Gelly Roll pen. The white is a Signo Uniball. And I also used Posca Paint Pens.

When you're done using your paper as a palette, do you try to make the paint blobs more like flowers before it all dries? I love this! I have yet to try it but I've been saving some palettes. Thanks for sharing!

I usually don't try to make the blobs look more like flowers unless I'm conciously thinking I will use the paper specifically to make florals. I did do it recently on a faux cyanotype journal page. There is a video on my channel showing that.
