Beautiful Floral Embellishments for Encouragement Cards -MeiLiang 36-Color Watercolor Review

- Join me as I test out the new MeiLiang 36 piece tube watercolor set from Paul Rubens Art by making what I like to call encouragement cards. These cute clusters include a watercolor base embellished with a simple yet beautiful watercolor floral and words of encouragement. They are perfect for finishing off a journal page, a gift tag, a card, or a little something to include in happy mail.
Thanks to Paul Rubens Art for sending this set my way. The rich, vibrant colors really were a joy to use. Although Paul Rubens offered a free set for review purposes, all opinions in the video are my own and I was not paid for this review.

Just an FYI, these MeiLiang tubes match the MeiLiang Pretty Excellent tin of 36. Wonderful to have refills for that set. The Pretty Excellent tin makes a great gift for beginners too.

I have a feeling you are going to become obsessed with watercolor! This set came out around Thanksgiving 2023. It’s a great set; very affordable for nice paints at the full price - and even goes on really good sales periodically which makes it hard to pass on stocking up! These cards are beautiful, btw!

All the watercolors I’ve gotten in tubes do the same thing. You have to hold the tube so tight bc the lid is tight then by the time you get it open the paint is too ready to come out‼️‼️. I make a mess too. I like your idea of these little cards. Something to put in the envelope when I mail the grandkids money, or use as a tag on a gift. Thanks for sharing your idea❣️❣️

You can easily run the caps under the water faucet and get all the paint off….either wipe the tube off with wet paper towels or, what I do…. I make sure the cap is on very secure and I wash them by putting them under the water faucet.
I just like everything pretty neat but most people don’t mind the paint on their tubes of paint….lol. Either way is good as I believe we all just have different personalities and need to do what makes us comfortable…
I just thought I’d share this in case you didn’t know that they are easy to clean up..
I’m wondering if it’s the pressure built up in the tubes??
I’ve had paints that didn’t have to be puncture led and have learned to have something ready when opening any tubes of watercolor….lol
Very very expensive brands do this exact same thing…paint just comes out the second the cap is off….
