Using Collage in your Journal to Highlight a Focal Point—Journal With Me Full Process Video
In this journal spread I’m using collage papers to bring focus to my focal point, an embossed rustic daisy from my Fabulous Florals Stamp Collection.
My new stamp collection is available exclusively at @joggles. There are six clear stamp sets in the collection: coneflower, rustic daisy, day lily, poppy, bachelor button, and summer bloom. Each set includes a floral, stem, leaf, background, border, and sentiment stamp that can be combined in an endless variety of ways to create unique and beautiful florals for art journals, card making, and other art projects.

Hi I would love to know where you get your journals - I find many have too many pages and get really thick - would appreciate any suggestions LOVE LOVE your videos
My journals get very thick as well. The one shown here is pretty flimsy. Not sure I would recommend it. I bought a set of 12 to use for a class. I had my students glue the pages together to make them thicker to withstand wet mediums. That being said, it doesn't get very thick because it doesn't have a lot of pages. Here's the link: www.amazon.com/dp/B0B9RP5DKV?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details. I also like the 5x8 Dylusions journal from Ranger. The paper is really sturdy and mine have gotten super thick and still close with the elastic that is attached to the cover. I have a video where I paint the cover--it's my wanderlust journal--if you want to check that out to see how chunky it can get! I've also heard of people cutting spines to make chunky journals close better but I don't know how to do that. You could search for videos on TH-cam. I'm sure they are out there. Hope this helps.

Thank you! I'm sorry I can't share details about how we made the Fodder Keeper as that was part of a paid curriculum and it wouldn't be fair to the artist who taught the course. I hope you can understand. I've seen videos on TH-cam where they use photo album sheets. It's a Royal & Langickel white bristle brush 1/2 inch stencil brush. I got it from Let's Make Art.

It's Tim Holtz Physchedelic Grunge Stamp/Stencil Set. You should be able to find it online. Try amazon or Stampers Anonymous. I think I bought mine at JoAnn Fabric a long time ago.

Wow! I can see using drywall tape on gelli plate, or doing some cross stitch, or after the tape is dry attaching it to fabric with stitching. So creative. Thank you for sharing.

Yes, the class is still available to watch. I didn't use any stamps. I just punched out shapes and drew in lines and details with a felt tip pen.
