Yes japan is a very nice country to live in. People are very dicipline, fresh air, delicious food, easy to travel by train and the weather is nice even its cold. I worked there in omiya for 8 years and i hope someday i can visit the place that i used to lived and i want to see the place that we used to go 27 year ago. I had a lot of memories in japan.

Some very nice bike trails in southwest Marion County, Florida near Ocala. The Withlacoochee Trail is 65 miles and the Cross Florida Greenway, which is not a rails to trails and has interesting curves, is 15 miles. However, we bought our home in 2014 for $150K but now it's worth about $300K, so home prices are going up quickly. We also have great kayaking year around in the Gulf and in Spring-fed rivers with plenty of wildlife and water transparency of about 50 feet. I run and bike year-round but summer is the least favorable season. My wife and I usually spend July visiting grandchildren in Minnesota. We are about 40 minutes from Gainesville, so we occasionally take advantage of cultural events at the University of Florida.

I'm from Spain and I've travelled abroad many times. I've enjoied every single place I've been to. There are beautiful sites all around the world and lovely people to know, too. But, in the end, when it comes to choosing a place to live in, you always choose your home, because it's what you are used to. I wouldn't change my country for any other in the world, because none of them can offer what mine gives me.
I've served this country my whole life - 12 years in two branches of the military. I helped save lives as a Coast Guardsman, then helped build schools, etc., as an Army Engineer. I worked, paid taxes, voted, volunteered...was disabled as a serviceman, and am now "retired". I was able to buy some land, build a cabin, and now live with my equally disabled wife in Montana. We have debts that we are unable to pay, no running water, no electricity (except when we run our old generator) and we worry sometimes about having enough to eat...but we're happy. Our country doesn't seem to really appreciate what we've done for it, and the system is set up so you NEVER really own what you think you own (property "taxes" for example), but we don't have anyone showing up at our place to tell us we can't live the way we do. We'd love to live in a country like Norway or Sweden, but we're happy with what we have.

It depends on you and what makes you happy. I'm currently residing with my family in Auckland, New Zealand and it's very peaceful, safe for kids and family, house prices are very high in suburbs around the city, scenery great, weather not too bad, but quite boring for me. I used to live in Melbourne, Australia and love it there-outgoing people, friendly, loud but happy, great natural sceneries, great lifestyle, good economy, lots of job opportunities, weather not too bad, but the people seem happy all the time. Been to other countries, Germany, UK, Geneva, Switzerland, Chiona, USA, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Jamaica, etc not too bad but somehow I love Melbourne, Australia and I was always happy there. However, my wife doesn't want us to move there to live.

I was born and raised in Canada and I gotta say that it’s a very excellent place to live. There’s a few problems like immigrants (foreign Chinese homebuyers too), employment, homelessness, drugs, and police.
I live in Canada and have even driven almost from one side to the other but Ontario (where I live) definitely has some of the most variation in landscape and (despite popular belief) it gets quite nice and warm here in the summer

@@zraj3433 Yes its expensive. Cant soften that up. But it does depend on your status and life style expectations. Housing is the very expensive but everything else is relatively similar to most other places. So if you were a single, low maintenance person (who doesn't need Gucci in their lives) and loves to cycle everywhere (not needing a car), then you could probably trim the fat and live OK. However, because you need to live somewhere and either buy a house or rent a place then that's where the real expense comes in (unless you have 5 house mates you could rent a house with which would then cut your costs down.

To me, there's no place like home. Those places are only good for brief days of visit but not to live till you die. Living right with your own kind of people will make you happy and contented. So, there's no place like your very own homeland.

Yes japan is a very nice country to live in. People are very dicipline, fresh air, delicious food, easy to travel by train and the weather is nice even its cold. The cost of property is going up but you should be able to find something in your range or lower if you look.
Some very nice bike trails in southwest Marion County, Florida near Ocala. The Withlacoochee Trail is 65 miles and the Cross Florida Greenway, which is not a rails to trails and has interesting curves, is 15 miles. However, we bought our home in 2014 for $150K but now it's worth about $300K, so home prices are going up quickly. We also have great kayaking year around in the Gulf and in Spring-fed rivers with plenty of wildlife and water transparency of about 50 feet. I run and bike year-round but summer is the least favorable season. My wife and I usually spend July visiting grandchildren in Minnesota. We are about 40 minutes from Gainesville, so we occasionally take advantage of cultural events at the University of Florida.

I've served this country my whole life - 12 years in two branches of the military. I helped save lives as a Coast Guardsman, then helped build schools, etc., as an Army Engineer. I worked, paid taxes, voted, volunteered...was disabled as a serviceman, and am now "retired". I was able to buy some land, build a cabin, and now live with my equally disabled wife in Montana. We have debts that we are unable to pay, no running water, no electricity (except when we run our old generator) and we worry sometimes about having enough to eat...but we're happy. Our country doesn't seem to really appreciate what we've done for it, and the system is set up so you NEVER really own what you think you own (property "taxes" for example), but we don't have anyone showing up at our place to tell us we can't live the way we do. We'd love to live in a country like Norway or Sweden, but we're happy with what we have.

I'm currently residing with my family in Auckland, New Zealand and it's very peaceful, safe for kids and family, house prices are very high in suburbs around the city, scenery great, weather not too bad, but quite boring for me. I used to live in Melbourne, Australia and love it there-outgoing people, friendly, loud but happy, great natural sceneries, great lifestyle, good economy, lots of job opportunities, weather not too bad, but the people seem happy all the time. Been to other countries, Germany, UK, Geneva, Switzerland, Chiona, USA, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Jamaica, etc not too bad but somehow I love Melbourne, Australia and I was always happy there. However, my wife doesn't want us to move there to live.

I was born and raised in Canada and I gotta say that it’s a very excellent place to live. There’s a few problems like immigrants (foreign Chinese homebuyers too), employment, homelessness, drugs, and police.
I live in Canada and have even driven almost from one side to the other but Ontario (where I live) definitely has some of the most variation in landscape and (despite popular belief) it gets quite nice and warm here in the summer

@@zraj3433 Yes its expensive. Cant soften that up. But it does depend on your status and life style expectations. Housing is the very expensive but everything else is relatively similar to most other places.
So if you were a single, low maintenance person (who doesn't need Gucci in their lives) and loves to cycle everywhere (not needing a car), then you could probably trim the fat and live OK.
However, because you need to live somewhere and either buy a house or rent a place then that's where the real expense comes in (unless you have 5 house mates you could rent a house with which would then cut your costs down.

To me, there's no place like home. Those places are only good for brief days of visit but not to live till you die. Factors would include the adjustments to culture, customs and traditions and also the dialect spoken or language. And if you are already quite old, that would be a challenge on your part. Living right with your own kind of people will make you happy and contented. So, there's no place like your very own homeland.
To me it is much easier to choose to be happy in a sunny climate. So I could only be happy in a country that has a hot climate 12 months of the year!
