This was easily my favorite deck of the tournament. Watching braindead Purrley and SEFK gets boring fast. Seeing an unorthodox deck take down top meta decks is always fun.

I was cheering for you during the live stream of the tournament. Very creative idea. Glad to see a deck break down here. Update on mermail/Atlantian to Dvl max - I made it boys. Was a fun challenge. Rocking an old school deck with some modern support and beating modern decks to the top.
I’ve been playing a going second variant for awhile now. Nowhere near as complicated as this but still effective. Been using spell card soul exchange to tribute opponents monsters for OCD
I won a game with Slash draw on my first play, Going second against “runick Kash” or something. It legit has never happened again but I got the full 8k damage on them 🤣

I'm just asking because I've finally perfected the ultimate rogue aqua deck with Icejades, Tearlaments and Tistinas, and I'd like to see what you think. I've already sent you two of those replays, but I've got a third one where I summon Tistina XYZ boss monster on the enemy turn, that I've also made public
12:57 shouldn't the water lock prevent them from summoning lava golem, since there's already a non water on your field? edit: skill drain negated the lock so it's a good call to banish
Correct - having a non-water monster next to Kairyu-Shin means you can only be Kaiju'd by Gameciel. Edit: oh wait yeah the other guy is right - skill drain negates Kairyu-Shin. Forgot that was a factor.

Sea Strikers looks pretty good! Going-Second Umi sounds so weird to me but this showcase definitely makes the case!

You don't special summon you only banish temporarily that way
